Rythian walked through Martyn's forest, as his daily routine was, hoping he would be there. Martyn had gone missing a long time ago, but Rythian hadn't lost hope. He never loses hope. Rythian's hope proved not to be wrong. Occasionally, a pair of eyes would be hiding behind a tree, only to disappear when Rythian looked.

He walked into a path lines with trees - flowering trees to be exact. Petals started to fall gently from the trees, landing in Rythian's hair. He smiles as they started to form a crown - Martyn loved flower crowns. He thought to himself, that maybe today was the day. Maybe he would come back. But that's what he always thought.

At the end of the row of trees, there was a small note scrawled onto a pale leaf. There was one word in a dark green ink. 'Sorry'. That's all it said.

A rustle of leaves could be heard behind and above him. Two people. Martyn was behind him, and his brother Toby was above. Martyn had planned this. He knew Rythian had visited his forest everyday, and felt bad, so his return would be the best it could be. Toby shook more flowers from the trees, creating an even prettier flower crown. Martyn dropped down lightly, taking slow steps towards Rythian. The Mage turned around to face Martyn, a single year falling down his masked face.

He took Martyn by surprise, running to him and hugging him as tightly as possible.

"... Hi Ryth, I'm back." Martyn murmured into Rythian's shoulder. "... I missed you. So much. Don't leave again... Please."

"I'm not going anywhere, my lovely flower."

Ahahahaaa this was so fun to write! I'm sorry it took so damn long, but im glad I finished this! Also sorry it's short but yeah! Hopefully I'll finish the other requests soon!
