"I did it!" Miss Hong cheered as she finished putting in Keomis nose stud piercing.
"Yayy!" Keomi laughed.
"Did it hurt?" Miss Hong asked her.
"Not at all, i'm used to them." Keomi told her.
"How many do you have?"
"Like four now, I have one in my belly button." Miss Hongs eyes widened.
"Can I see?" Miss Hong asked her and Keomi nodded.
She lifted her shirt and showed the piercing on her belly button.
"That looks so pretty, can I know why you have those bandages?"
"Oh this one fight I was in, the girl was way bigger than me so my shoulder has hurt a bit since then."
"You should get it checked." Miss Hong suggested.
"I'll be fine don't worry."
"You should ask Vinny to message your shoulders, he's great at messaging. You left your bike here yesterday, too."
"Oh yeah, Vinny said he's gonna fix something for me so it'll be easier for me to use."
"Vinnys teaching you how to ride a bike, right?"
"Yeah! I'm paying him to teach me."
"You mean he's not doing it for free?" Miss Hong asked Keomi.
"No, it's a win win situation."
"But he's your boyfriend." Miss Hong sighed before Keomi could reject the boyfriend thing Miss Hong shoved a piece of bread she had baked into Keomis mouth.
"This is great." Keomi complimented.
"You know how to cook, right?" Miss Hong asked Keomi and she nodded.
The door opened and three guys came in.
Vinny, Sung, and Jay were all beaten up.
Keomi stared at them while Miss Hong went to attend to them.
"Who-who did this?" Keomi spoke up.
"Some gang," Sung said.
"This one guy looked familiar." Vinny walked up to Keomi. Vinny stared at her with anger.
"It's that guy who you give stuff and who picked you up from school. Did you set us up?!" Vinny yelled at Keomi.
"I didn't," Vinny grabbed her by the shirt.
"Stop lying! I let you get close to my mom and me, and you let your friends jump mines?!" Vinny yelled.
"Let her go." Sung and Jay grabbed Vinny as they grabbed him Vinny pushed her and she fell.
"You knew something was up, you knew they were planning to jump Jay. That's why you always left when he came by!" Vinny yelled.
"I'm so sorry." Miss Hong apologized as she helped Keomi stand up. "You're bleeding." Miss Hong noticed.
There was a knife on the table and it had cut Keomis arm when Vinny pushed her.
"Im fine, thank you." Keomi said as she covered her wound. "I'll head home."
Keomi walked out the door and made her way to the fight club.
"Vinny, what the hell is wrong with you?" Sung asked Vinny when he calmed down.

"You're so stupid." Wooin laughed as he attended to Keomis wound. "You fell off your skateboard because you tried not to hit a cat."
Keomi said nothing.
"Good news, we found the guys and beat them up. Bad news, the job got worse." Wooin sighed.
"I'd like you to delete my number." Keomi said. "Both of you, I quit."
"Huh? You're our best fighter." Wooin said.
"Im just afraid i'd get caught in this."
"Joker and I are protecting you, if you ever do get caught up in it we'd easily take care of you. Plus you're strong,"
"I never liked you, Wooin. I just went with your shit because I needed the money. I never cared about you or Joker. So forget you ever met me and delete my number."
She then felt a sharp pain in her cheek.
Wooin had slapped her. She expected it. She could've stopped it but she let him hit her. She wanted to feel any kind of pain she could get.
She felt horrible about not telling Vinny about what she knew, she wanted to protect him and his mom. She cared about them so much.
They made her feel happy.
"I'll be leaving now." She whispered as she walked out the fight club purposely bumping into people.
"Hey?!" A girl yelled as she grabbed on Keomi.
"Apologize!" A guy yelled.
Keomi made her way out the club and headed to the park.
Her phone rang.
"Keomi?! Where are you?!" Kaylee yelled through the phone.
"Whats wrong?" Keomi asked.
"Your mom, we took her to the hospital. She passed out, i'm sorry we didn't noticed that she hasn't been eating."
"I'm on my way." Keomi stood up and started to run to the hospital.
It felt like years.
Keomis eyes swelled up with tears.
She then tripped but she quickly got up and ran again ignoring the pain in her leg.
It was raining.
"Where is she?" Keomi asked Kaylee.
"She's getting checked. She's gotten worse. We're not allowed in. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." Keomi lied.
"Doctor can you check on my friend?" Kaylee asked the doctor.
