Part 7: The Packages

We made it to the oven and found out that they still needed a few minutes. We both sighed in relief. I looked at the counter and saw the two packages, Techno saw me look and followed me eyes.(I'm keeping this here because I find pirate (y/n) hilarious)

"Dᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴏᴘᴇɴ ᴛʜᴇᴍ?" He asked.

"𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝗼𝐮.." I replied looking at him.

"Lᴇᴛ's ᴅᴏ ɪᴛ" he said grabbing the one with his name. I grabbed mine and we began to open them. There was a letter, a object wrapped in paper and a ticket.

I grabbed the ticket first and looked at it. I read:

I looked at Techno and he had his ticket next to him and he was already reading the letter. I grabbed mine and opened it, I started reading.

I grabbed the object wrapped in paper and opened it, it was beautiful.

I put it back and continued reading.

I put my letter back in the box and closed it. I'll be going, I want to see what's gonna happen. I looked at Techno and he was pulling the cookies out of the oven.

"𝐈 𝐠𝗼𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝗼 𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐚." I said to him. He placed the cookies on the counter and looked at me.

"Sᴀᴍᴇ, ɪᴛ'ʟʟ ʙᴇ ɴɪᴄᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴛʜᴀᴛ sᴏᴍᴇᴏɴᴇ I ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴡɪʟʟ ʙᴇ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ᴇᴠᴇɴ ɪғ I ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴡʜᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡɪʟʟ ʙᴇ" he smiled. I laughed and nodded my head in agreement.

We sat there and talked about what we thought it would be like.

"𝐈 𝐰𝗼𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝗼𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝗼𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.." I said thinking about all the people I know. There's not a lot since I don't talk to people. "𝐏𝐫𝗼𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝗼𝐭" I said sipping my milk.

"OK ᴛʜᴇɴ.." He said taking a bite of his cookie. "I sʜᴏᴜʟᴅ ᴘʀᴏʙᴀʙʟʏ ɢᴏ sʜᴏᴘᴘɪɴɢ ғᴏʀ ᴀ sᴜɪᴛ sᴏᴏɴ"

"𝐒𝐚𝗺𝐞, 𝐈 𝐝𝗼𝐧'𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐟𝗼𝐫𝗺𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫" I said agreeing with him. It's true, I almost never wore formal things.

I yawned.

"𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝗼𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐠𝗼 𝐭𝗼 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐬𝗼𝗼𝐧, 𝐢𝐭'𝐬.." I checked my phone, "𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝗺𝗼𝐬𝐭 10"

"Yᴇᴀ.. Aʟsᴏ, I'ᴍ sᴏʀʀʏ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴇᴀʀʟɪᴇʀ." He spoke. I tilted my head. "Iɴ ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴀᴛʜʀᴏᴏᴍ, I ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴛᴏᴏᴋ ᴏᴠᴇʀ ᴍᴇ, I'ᴍ sᴏʀʀʏ." I just now remembered that.

"𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐲𝗼𝐮 𝐝𝗼𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝗼 𝐚𝐩𝗼𝐥𝗼𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐞, 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝗼𝗺𝐞𝐭𝐢𝗺𝐞𝐬." I said. My cheeks were starting to burn up, if I didn't remember the cookies we would've kissed..
