I Didn't Mean To!

My legs are starting to hurt. I've been walking around this school for ten minutes looking for the stairs and when I did I tripped on the steps and hit my nose. When I finally got to the first floor I relaxed and headed to the office. The boy working there didn't even flinch or notice when I opened the door. "Hello! I need a guide to show me around-" His clicks on the computer are so loud I can't hear myself. I stare at the ground waiting for him to stop. The floor is a carpet with small splashes of colors such as blue, red and dark green. The green is so dark compared to the other color's shades. I wonder who decided that.

"Hey, stop staring at the ground, you look stupid." I snap back out of the carpet's design and face the boy.

"Hi, I need a guide to-" He rolls his eyes before interrupting me.

"You already said that, why are you repeating? Wait, no, don't answer that you'll take forever." He sighs. I remain silent. "You should have a guide already, something wrong with the girl?" He asked but it sounded like he didn't want me to answer.

"I was told she's a bad person to show me around apparently." I whisper.

"Look I don't care that much, come back if she puts a knife in your arm." He starts typing again. I wonder what was so important. I guess I should walk out. I walk up the stairs aimlessly back to the third floor and back to the spot I met the boy. I look at the map. If I go to the left I'll reach the bio rooms. If I turn right I'll get to the science rooms. I feel like I'm in a maze...I'll go left and see where I end up.

I open the doors to a group of girls smoking. And strawberry pink hair. I close the door quietly and run down the hall, I turn to the stairs and run down. I check my phone; 30 minutes before class starts. I don't know where I'm going at all. I feel hopeless and my heart won't stop pounding. Her hair was really really strawberry blonde. It was pretty but it also looked like the owner could kill me. She was wearing a very short skirt for the school guidelines and a red top, it had something written on it but I didn't have time to look. I fall down against the wall and place my books next to me. I should change schools. Yes yes, she wants me dead. She didn't even see me and I'm glad she didn't. I should go home and eat dada's pie. I wonder if he has made any yet...no, stupid it's the morning, he makes it for dinner. I cover my head with both my hands. I can't think. No teachers have arrived yet. I wanna go back home...I miss Dada and Papa..."Oi, what're you doin' down there." I look up to a group of girls looking down at me. Literally. I didn't expect to see someone. Oh no, it's the group of smoking girls. I don't see the blonde though. I stand up. My legs are shaking, I hope they're not looking closely.

"Oh, I'm fine, I was going back home. Yeah." I grab my books and start walking aimlessly.

"Hey, the stairs are the other way, kid." One pipes up, pointing in the opposite direction.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I say. Stupid stupid stupid. How did I walk that way? I just came this way. Or was it that way?..I walk up. "Not to bother you kid, but to get to your home I believe you have to walk down unless you have a helicopter to take you back." A few of the girls nodded as if that was a big possibility.

"Sorry." I turn around feeling tears race down my face as I hear one of them whisper; "Why is she apologizing?". I'm looking down the stairs. Wood. Very creaky. Very. I'm crying a lot but luckily it's quiet. Only giveaway is the drops of tears falling. I feel hands hold both of my shoulders. I can't move down a step. When I look slightly up I see a skirt but look down 'cause I don't want them to see me tears. They're really tall, mind you I'm two steps above them. "...What." My voice cracked a little when I said that.

"You new? I don't recognize your hair. White and blue. Cute. Are you okay?" The voice is deep. It sounds really cool. Like the type of person to smack you if you look at them in a weird way. It's a really attractive voice. Good for them, I guess. I look up to see. My heart drops a few of it's beats.

"No no, I'm fine." I start to run down the stairs. Oh my Choco Milk that was close. Too close. Unfortunately for me, I suddenly fell. Someone grabbed my hand, causing me to fall from the momentum on the steps. The blonde walked down and crouched in front of me.

"I see that act didn't work. Who told you?" The blonde stared at me.

"..." I opened my mouth but had nothing to say.

"Agh, you're new, you didn't get the name. I see." Yeah...

"Yeah, I didn't." I wiped my tears. She smirked.

"Oh look, you can talk. Good. What did they look like?" What? Why would I tell?

"I can't remember." I say, a puzzled look stretched across my face. She stands up.

"I bet you don't. Grab her."Huh? I stand up with tears streaming down faster.

"Wait what?" I moved towards her as two of the smoking girls grabbed both my arms. I looked at them with a face of betrayal and a few sniffs.

"Aye, you got caught, why you surprised?" I drop my head in defeat and follow along. I have no idea where we're going. We keep turning corners and climbing stairs. They let go of my arms at a door. Ah, it's the Bio rooms. Stupid. I should've just stayed around here, I would've spared some time. The blonde walks in and the girls push me in. I'm still crying and my face must be so red, imagine being dragged around the whole school while crying. I guess a tour of the school I won't forget.

"Welcome to Bio class." She said running her hand on one of the front tables. "Sit where you please..." She said slyly. I sniff and look around the room. Four tables. I walk down the aisles as I wipe my tears away with my oversized sweater. I look around and sniff again. Guess I looked hopeless 'cause she smiled and patted the front table. I looked at the table a waddled over there. There was two seats. "Which one." She said softly. I looked at her before stumbling to the first chair. She smiles and stops leaning on the desk.
