DYLAN POV
I really wanted to tell Lexi how I feel but Coach Green had to blow the whistle. I also didn't want to tell her because it's gonna be awkward. She's actually really cool. I made made up my mind to not tell her and just stick with being friends. I don't want to mess up our friendship.
LEXI POV
I wonder what Dylan was gonna tell me. I hope he likes me. After we run the mile I got to the locker room and change. I put on some joggers, an American Horror Story sweatshirt that says "normal people scare me" , a black beanie, and white vans. Just a normal day look. I walk out and wait for Dylan ( I walk with him to second period). He finally comes out looking hot as always.
"Hey Dylan."
"Oh hey, I like you're sweatshirt."
" Thanks, so what were you gonna tell me?"
" Never mind." He said as the bell rang.
" Come on let's go." I said walking out the gym.
" So, what's up?"
"Nothing much, you?"
" Nothing new, my life is boring, I don't go any where."
" Why not?"
"I'm not really a typical teenager." I said looking down at my shoes trying not to look at him.
"Yeah I know, after school I never see you on your phone like everyone else." He said letting out a chuckle. Why does he do that to me, make me crazy.
"Yeah technology hates me." I said giggling.
"We'll see you later." He said as we got to his class.
"Bye."
My older cousin, Dae, came out to talk to me.
"Do you like Dylan?"
"Why does everyone keep asking me that? And what if I did, would you tell him?"
" No, but Dylan is my homeboy. I can talk to him for you."
"No thanks. I just want to be friends."
"Whatever you say lil' cuz. See you later."
I put up a peace sign and walked to class. I lied. I want to be way more than 'just friends'.
