Time Lapse (4th period)
LEXI POV
"Lexi, wait up!" Screamed Caroline as she was running towards me.
"Wow. I've never seen you run that fast before." I said laughing at her unathleticism.
"Shut-up."she said as she slowed down to a walk.
"So, did you ever ask Dylan?"
"No, and I'm not going to." I said with a straight face.
"Why not, I agree with Kalyn you two should be together."
"I don't give a damn who you a free with, its my decision, not yours."
"Fine. I'll let you be."
"Don't say anything about any of this at lunch. You hear me?"
"Yeah yeah I got you."
"Ok. see you after band." I yelled going to my section.
While walking to my section, I grabbed a quick drink of water. when I turned around I saw Dylan, right in front of my face. like not even an inch apart. I tried not to look straight at his eyes, I failed. When I looked in them I couldn't take my eyes off them.
"Hey." he said scratching the back of his head nervously.
"Umm, hey." I said trying not to let my voice quiver.
We were still looking in each other's eyes until this boy came crashing out the bathroom. Dylan finally said, "Can I get some water now?"
"Oh, yeah umm sure." I felt like dropping dead right there. we were not even an inch apart and I still can't tell if he likes me.
I HATE THESE FEELINGS. My friends all know that I have NEVER felt this way before I met Dylan. After a while, my friends started to tell me that I was acting different, shy, girly, sometimes rude, or overly excited around Dylan. I thought they were being crazy but, then I realized they were right. I was acting different. Why was I doing this? Why was I acting this way? I had to get these feelings out of my head.
