Chapter 11

LEXI POV

I went to the doctor the next day and he said it was just stress that caused me to faint. I had to stay home a few days so some stress could go away. In my head I was thinking "Did I faint because Caroline and Rose kept asking me about Dylan or because I was actually stressed. I mean I shouldn't be stressed, I'm only in 7th grade."
It was Tuesday when I fainted and I couldn't go to school until Thursday. My mom had to get my work for the week and I finished it all in an hour ( I'm a nerd ). It was already 11:00 so I went to bed.
In the morning I went to my living room and turned on the TV. Being home alone all day was gonna be really boring. With my mom and dad at work and my two sisters at school, there's no one to bring me food. What if I fainted again? Who would be there to help me or pick me up or keep me from hitting my head? Well the doctor did say it was stress, so I guess all I gotta do is stay stress free for the next few days. That means no thinking about Dylan. This is gonna be hard. Really hard. I mean how are you not gonna think about the person you love? I thought about this for a while but started to feel dizzy so I took a nap. after I woke up I texted Rose. I knew she was in school but she's always in her phone.
Me: Hey what's up? :)
Rose: Uhh Mrs. Bitchface is giving another lecture about behaving with a sub :(

- we call our science teacher Bitchface-

Me: why don't you go to the restroom?
Rose: She won't let anyone out of classroom
Me: Haha sucks to suck! I get to stay home for the rest of the week :)
Rose: oh Shut up!... So are you feeling better?
Me: yeah the doc said it was just stress
Rose: that's good I gtg she's walking down isles byeee :)
And with that message I was bored. Again. At this point I would rather be in an opera house with howling dogs than be home alone.

DYLAN POV

Lexi wouldn't be here until Thursday and I really wanted to see her. I hope she's ok. I didn't want any of this to happen. I wish I had her number so I could ask her how she's doing. I have an idea. I texted her cousin, Marley , and asked her for her number.
Me: do you have lexi's #?
Marley: yeah why?
Me: I want to check on her
Marley: why what happened?
Me: you didn't hear?
Marley: No what happened?!
Me: She fainted out of nowhere and I want to check on her
Marley: just kik her
Me: ok what is it?
Marley: one_only_lexi
Me: ok thanks
After that I kiked her and she answered almost immediately.
Me: Hey
Lexi: who is this
Me: Dylan
Lexi: oh hey Dylan how did you get my kik?
Me: Marley gave it to me
Lexi: Typical Marley ;)
Me: haha lol... so do you feel better
Lexi: yeah the doc said it was just stress
Me: oh ok I guess that's good news
Lexi: yeah hey I gtg but thanx for checking up on me :)
Me: no prob :)
I felt better when she said she was ok. I just wanted it to be Thursday already.
