There she was, a Japanese princess in the middle of the streets of Tokyo. She was dressed in an elegant white robe dress with flowers in her hair. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Hi Noah. Long time no see."
"Uhhhhh Ya it has been awhile."
"You're all bloody, what did you do now?"
"Self defense."
"Well then... let's get away from the scene of the crime."
"I'm okay with that."We walked towards north Tokyo until she stopped at a restaurant.
" Come on let's get something to eat, you can pay."
"Ugh about that. I spent it all on sake."
"Fine. I'll pay for myself, just sit down until I get back."
"Will do my lady."She did a sharp 180 turn and entered the small restaurant. I observed all of the people of Tokyo while waiting for Asika. Fishers were yelling and selling, while some kid was playing on the roof across the street.
I looked closely at this child just sitting on the roof. He was in a dark robe with a face mask on. He pulled out what looked like a gun. WAIT THAT ISN'T A KID.
Asika stepped out and I dove at her. I collided with her as the bullet grazed my back.
We landed in a puddle of mud and her dress was ruined.
"What the HELL Noah, is that how you treat a woman?"
The Assassin ran off the roof and was walking over to us.
"Well if I didn't a bullet would have ruined your dress."
She looked at my bleeding back and reached out to touch it, but I ran off to fight the assassin.
"Well well, that was quite bold of you to do." The Assassin yelled energetically.
"Well you know, just doing what's right."
"Then you'll die for that."He drew a long double edged blade from his seathe. I drew Senshi and Murasame and prepared for battle.
He charged as fast as humanly possible. He lunged his sword at my legs, I deflected the blade and tried to jab Murasame in his back. But he quickly pushed off the ground and got out of the way.
He rolled around on the dirt floor before he got to his feet. He held his blade vertically and now it was my turn to charge.
I lunged at him while doing a 360. Senshi hit his blade first knocking it out of position. Then Murasame came at his face. The blade cut into his mask and the mask fell to the ground.
He did a backflip and kicked Murasame out of my hands. He landed perfectly on his feet and caught Murasame by the blade.
"Nice blade, too bad you are awful with it."
I sliced the air with senshi, the blade heading straight for his wirst. He deflected senshi with his blade then struck with Murasame. I had no choice but to use my bare hand. I pushed the demonic blade away and spun with senshi coming up.
The holy sword cut through his evil wirst cutting his hand right off. Murasame fell to the floor and I lunged to pick it up. He started to run and I began to chase him. I tried to cut him with Murasame but only got his shoulder blade.
He spun around and took the blade from my hands. He stared at me with pain and anguish in his eyes.
" It's even nicer when you find out that it is poisoned."
He dropped the blade and turned to run, but the poison began to take effect. The poison ran through his blood and was destroying him from the inside.
I felt pity for this man, I know what the poison feels like. It turns your blood to lava and kills you in a horrible fashion.
"What is your name assassin?"
"I... I have none... I'm a slave. I work for Mitsuhide. They call me the Assassin of Tokyo."
"Who are they?"
"They are..."Those were his last words. His lifeless body fell to the ground with blood flowing out of his mouth and eyes.
The dirt road was now covered in sticky red substance. People gathered around the body and me. They all fell to their knees and chanted in unison.
"Long live the assassin, long live the hero of Tokyo, long live those who work in the dark for the light."
Asika ran at me and grabbed my arm and pulled me along. We went maybe a kilometer before she stopped.
"You are in so much trouble."
"I only saved your life, what did I really do wrong?"
"I'll explain briefly, Tokyo is the center of a rebellion against my father. The Assassin of Tokyo is suppose to do Mitsuhide's dirty work."
"Ok, I don't see the..."
"You killed Mitsuhide's right hand man. He'll come for you."
"Okay."She grabbed my arm and sprinted off. For a girl in a dress she could run pretty fast. After maybe 3 kilometers we arrived at a horse drawn carriage. We climbed in and were on our way to Kyoto.
How long has it been since I've been there.
*************************
It was a long ride there. They went maybe 30 to 40 kph. I could probably get there two days before we arrived. The entire way there Asika wouldn't speak. She refused to even acknowledge that I was there. She just stared off into the distance for the 10 day ride, she looked like she was in an almost coma state of thought. I thought it was best to leave her be.The moment we stepped on a medical team rushed me and began sewing my back up. They gave me so much drugs that I fell unconscious.
Kira was there with Tsuyoi. They just smiled at me and nodded their heads. They agreed with what I had done, their souls were now at rest. And for ounce, the nightmares didn't come. I was at peace.
10 days after leaving Tokyo we arrived at the castle in Kyoto. When I stepped out I was immediately surrounded by swords and guns. They were all pointed at my throat and then I heard two distinct voices.
One was obviously Leyasu and the other was unknown. Leyasu was walking towards me yelling at the samurai to lower their weapons. Leyasu was walking with a tall bald man with a bushy mustache.
" Noah, I knew that you would come. Let me introduce you to Oda Nobunaga."
