Rindou took a sip of his tea as his assistant enters the room.
"Sir, the guests are here" his assistant reported that they're here.
He's an important client since he's from one of the biggest organizations in Japan.
All of sudden, his phone vibrated. He didn't notice it as soon as it rang so when he was about to pick it up, the call was dismissed.
He put his phone in his pocket as soon as the VIP Guest entered the room. It was Haruchiyo.
"Long time no see, man" he greeted first.
"Yeah, how's life?" he shrugged his shoulder and raised his eyebrows.
Rindou offered a tea but Haruchiyo just nodded and declined it.
"Still having bad luck with women, just playing around," the both of them burst into laughter.
"Well looks like I won this time," Rindou whispered making Haruchiyo gasp and smirk.
"Oh, who is it?"
"You fucker did you come here for gossip or what?" Rindou said as he lightly tapped his shoulders.
"Is it y-"
All of sudden, his phone rang again. Turns out it was Kei. He already missed 6 calls from him.
"Bro, let me take this call" Haruchiyo just nodded and took a sip of his tea.
"Kei? How are yo-"
"Papa! Mama is in the hospital! She's unconscious, luckily, an uncle helped us earlie-"
His eyes widened and his heartbeat increased, mindlessly putting his coat on and running downstairs.
His assistant kept calling him but he didn't mind it, he just left a word to Haruchiyo that something urgent happened to his wife.
After a few minutes of driving, he arrived at the hospital and saw Kei crying beside y/n.
"Kei, don't cry, papa's here now, and mama will be okay, right?" he whispered, hugging him.
Rindou doesn't want to see Kei crying, since he's his precious son.
"Here, I bought some food for you and your mom," he added wiping Kei's tears.
Rindou walked towards y/n to check her condition but she was still unconscious. Kei started eating the food I brought them.
He told him that he need to go out for a minute to ask the nurse what happened to her, and Kei just nodded.
"It seems like she had an accident in the past, the child told us that she started feeling unwell after they took a taxi and then she collapsed. Maybe that thing triggered her, we also notice some wounds in her brain. And it is most likely the reason why she lost some of her memories" the nurse explained more details about her condition.
Rindou sighed in frustration after knowing the results and headed towards her room.
"Maybe that's the reason why she's not saying anything to me, I thought she doesn't want to say it but the truth is she forgot everything in her past," he whispered to himself.
Wondering what accident she got involved in.
Rindou entered y/n's room and noticed that Kei fell asleep beside her mother. He noticed that y/n's hand was shaking she was sweating a lot so he immediately call a doctor to check on her.
"Darling?" he whispered while holding her hands.
"Are you okay?"
"Y/n!?" he yelled, losing his composure as he noticed that y/n is having a nightmare.
As soon as the doctor checked on her, she fell asleep again.
Rindou walked out of the room to get some fruits and flowers for them so they'll just eat them after they woke up.
He left and bought some fruits from the supermarket. He bought her favorite fruits and Kei's favorite. After that, he visited the flower shop he always visits and bought a flower bouquet.
As soon as he bought what he needed, he immediately rushed to the hospital since the doctor told him that she may gain consciousness within any minute.
Once he got there, he knocked on the door and heard a familiar voice. Someone opened the door for him and was shocked after seeing each other.
"R-rindou?"
Rindou looked at him, he was wearing a formal suit and holding the same bouquet he bought earlier. His fist clenched before he spoke.
"What are you doing here, Ran?"
