When I woke up this morning, I seen all types of notifications on my phone. But, I ignored them and cleared them out. Partially because they were all from Instagram.
I turn on my tv, and it's on E!, and unmute it. Oddly...I watch tha channel ta see who all they're talking about. I'm just glad it don't be about me or Aug. We stay private as hell. Or at least try to stay private.
As I'm watching it a picture of Chris pops up. I just roll my eyes cause he's tha LAST thing or person on my mind. He makes me sick.
Zuri Hall: "Breaking news. We just got word that Chris brown was rushed to the hospital late last night.."
I hop up so quick and just stare at tha tv. I'm speechless. Literally..!
Zuri Hall: "It is said he has been shot and is in critical condition."
Maria Menounos: "Chris is the former beau of Mariah Jones, who shares a daughter with him."
I'm so thrown off right na cause who got tha nigga?!
Maria Menounos: "That's crazy. We just had an interview with him a while back. And he was releasing new music and everything. He was in good spirits..."
Me: "Since when?!"
Zuri Hall: "We'll be updating information as the day goes on. We're going to take a quick commercial break. But, before we go, here's an interview we had with Chris. And just for him, a premier of his video Girl Of My Dreams right here on E!."
Then they show him talkin' ta Giuliana Rancic. I'm just....baffled by this.
Giuliana Rancic: "So, Chris. What inspired you to write this song? Is it a woman?"
Chris: "*laughs* Actually yes. It is a woman. My girlfriend, Mariah. She was tha inspiration for it. She's tha girl of my dreams. Ion know about everyone else....but she's mine. Everything about her I love..."
Giuliana Rancic: "That's so sweet! Clearly she makes you happy..."
Chris: "Very! Very much so. She brightens my day. She's perfect. Granted, all couples have small issues..."
Me: "Small my ass.." I scoffed
Chris: "But, that's my baby. My heart. I have tha most beautiful woman in tha world. And I love her..."
Giuliana Rancic: "Well ladies. He is happy with his relationship. So, don't come intrude yourselves..."
Me: "I wouldn't have minded.."
Giuliana Rancic: "Wanna do the honor?"
Chris: "Wassup y'all it's Chris Brown. This is my premier video of Girl of My Dreams right here on E!. And to Mariah, I hope you enjoy it babe. I love you so much. This song is dedicated to you."
As I'm watching it, I see it's clips of us. Me, actually happy ta be with him! I have never seen this video. Ever! Not even a little bit. I knew he was working on new things. But, tha fact that he never mentioned this ta me is mind blowing ta me. Hell...I never even seen tha interview!
My phone rings and I answer it and it's Aug calling me. After tha automated voice goes through, he comes on tha line.
*Phone call starts*
August: "Babe-"
Me: "Did you-"
August: "Yup. Gave tha go."
