Another horrible day at school, its almost time for prom and everybody is getting asked in these really cute ways and its making me mad. Dont get me wrong im happy for all of them but I just want my bestfriend Jack to ask me and I know hes not going to.
I hop in my car and drive to school, when I get there I see Jack by my parking spot like always, i smile and get out of the car.
"Hey Jack, what's up?"
"Thinking about asking a girl to prom, but I dont know how to do it yet. Any ideas?"
My heart broke but I'm still going to help him becuase hes my bestfriend and as long as hes happy I'll be fine. "You should make a big sign that says PROM? with balloons around the sides and have some of your friends hold it then after she reads it you come out from behind it with roses. I bet she'll love it!"
"Thanks Y/N, have a good day. See ya later.'"
This was like the longest day of my life, first my math teacher was mad at me whole class and I have no idea why, then in Social Studies I had to sit out of the project because I forgot my notebook. The day was finally over and right when I walked outside I saw the sign I told Jack to do. He actually did really good with it. I decided to stay and watch to see how my plan worked out. The boys held it up then Jack stepped around it with roses and looked right at me. Who is he asking?
"Y/N will you please be my date to prom?"
"Of course Jack!"
I ran and hugged him then he kissed me. Yes my bestfriend/crush kissed me. I kissed back and I swear i felt fireworks. When we pulled away he smiled down at me.
"Y/N will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, of course Jack! You dont know how long ive wanted you to ask me that!"
