Reige's Promise

Chapter 7

I slapped myself but I can't seem to go back to my normal self. I just kept on staring at my ceiling.

"Naya..." Than opened the door and let his head in to look at me.

"I don't know what's happening but are you sure you don't want to go after Ara?" He asked but I chose to look away.

"I can see you want to. Don't stop yourself from doing the things you like, Naya." He said again and that's when I sit on my bed.

"Than... will you drive me there?" I asked even though I know he's still not familiar with the places here.

"Sure." He didn't even think before answering. 

Since I am wearing leggings, long oversized shirt, I didn't bother changing my clothes. I just grabbed my thick jacket and heels. I don't know why I suddenly want to wear heels. 

"Let's go." I said and grabbed my sling bag and cellphone.

"So where are we going?" He asked. I turned on my phone and opened up my google map.  I'm not in the mood to talk much so I just lend him my phone.

He started driving and I just watch over the window beside me until we reached Reige's apartment where we got caught on traffic. I suddenly heard a ringing phone.

"Naya, someone's calling." Than gave me my phone and I saw Ara's name on the screen so I answered immediately.

"He---,"

(Nayaaaaaaa) My heart suddenly skipped a beat as I heard Reige's voice. 

(Nayaaaaaaa asan ka Naya?) I can hear his sobs. Damn, is he crying? 

(G-gusto kong magcelebrate kasama ka pero... nasaan ka Nayaaaa? Nayaaaa nilasing nila ako. Sunduin mo ako ditoooo. Mga bad sila.) My heart melts upon hearing his rants.

(Naya hindi ako galit sa'yo, hhmm? Hinding hindi ako magagalit sa'yo. Sorry, Nayaaaa.) I tightened my grip on my phone.

(Nayaaaaa bakit hindi ka nagsasalita? Galit ka ba? Ayaw mo na ba sa akin?)  I can continuously hear his sobs. Damn, my heart is seriously melting.

I didn't think twice, I opened the door beside me despite the cars everywhere.

"Naya!" I heard Than called me numerous times but I didn't bother looking back. I run as fast as I could until I reached Irroh's convenience store.

"Reige..." I saw Reige sleeping through the glass wall. I immediately went inside and they were all shocked to see me including Kae. Kae is here!

"Naya. Anoo'ng ginagawa mo rito?" Kae asked as she pats Reige's hair. What the hell? Why is she sitting beside him anyway?

Ara walked towards me and whispered, "Hinablot ni Reige phone ko kanina para tawagan ka. Lumayo pa siya sa amin then he went back saying you're not talking. Galit ka daw sa kanya? Ayan K.O." Then she looked at Reige who's currently sleeping with Kae's hand patting his head. Damn it.

"Get your hands off of him." I said as I walk toward them.

"Ate Naya..." I felt Reign walked beside me but my eyes were fixed on Kae's hand on Reige.

I can't stop myself anymore. I grabbed her hand and pulled him to stand up. Her eyes widened with what I did.

"What's your problem, Naya?" She asked irritatedly but I didn't bother answering her. Instead, I looked at Reige again.

"Wake up, Reige." I tried to sound as calm as possible.

"What the hell is your problem? He's drunk. Why are you waking him up? What are you doing here anyway?" Kae looks so irritated. Well, I am more irritated.
