once the weekend came to an end, your family dropped kageyama off at his house and you got to say hello to his sister and his parents.
"see you in school" kags waved at you
"bye" you waved back and your parents drove away. you sat back in your seat and touched the side where he sat. "do you miss him already hun?" your mom asked you
"no" you took your hand back, "i'm gonna see him later anyways"
"alright" your father pulled up to your house since it wasn't that far from kags. you pulled your bags out and walked up the stairs to head up to your room. you opened the door and left the bags on the floor before unpacking.
you rested your chin on your pillow and kicked your feet, "i don't wanna go back to school"
you saw your ironed clothes on a hanger by your closet door. you tied your hair up and walked out of your room to go into the bathroom. your phone buzzed in your pocket and you reached your hnad to see what it was.
kageyama had sent you an image and you hearted it. the picture he took of you both from dinner last night. you stared at the picture while standing outside the bathroom door and started to text him.
"thanks" you said while typing
"anytime" you read his reply and waited for his following message. there was a speech bubble with gray dots and you got lost while waiting. "come on" you frowned
the bubble disappeared and you threw your phone back in your pocket, "i'm sure he'll just say it in person later"
