spring has come by and everyone in your friend group came along after school before volleyball practice began. you were standing in a line beside yamaguchi and you looked at kags and hinata talk to each other while tôko and tsukishima bickered about whatever.

"beautiful" yams suddenly said

you turned your head to see what he was looking at. tôko moved her hair back and went back on her phone and you saw yams smile. "wait-" you said, "you like her?"

yams side-eyed you and nodded his head. he moved his finger on his mouth and made a shushing sound, "don't tell. but i've felt like this for a while"

"awe" you had puppy eyes and started smiling, "since when?"

"i can't describe when exactly," he said, "i just felt it"

"you guys need alone time together" you planned, "how about we go somewhere and then act like we got lost"

"sure?" he chuckled, "but she's too smart for that"

"i don't want to rush things or be obvious" he stated

"alright" you walked forward in line and listened to yams order his food for you and him. you both split the paying amount and once you got the food you went back to the group waiting in the park.

you looked at yams trying to figure out where to sit and kags was sitting next to tôko. "tobio" you said, "come sit here"

his eyes widen and so did everyone else. i'm taking one for the team-

"okay..." he moved next to you and yams sat next to tôko. "so what are we doing after this?" tsukishima asked while pushing up his glasses. "we should all go explore the city!" hinata cheered, "we have the time so~"

"alright," you said, "city it is"
