Normal POV

Tim and Damian both woke up around 9 the next morning. They ate breakfast in a comfortable silence, but once they were finished Tim told Damian to wait in the kitchen for him to get something. He did as asked with slight suspicion of what his brother was up to.

He came back a minute later with a birthday bag in his hand. It had a robin on the front of it and had red and black tissue paper sticking out of it. He handed it to Damian who looked up at him in confusion, "What's this?"

Tim laughed lightly, "It's your birthday present," he said sitting back down next to Damian.

Surprised was evident on his face, but composed himself and started to pull the paper out. He finally pulled out an Xbox game. It was a game he wanted as soon as he saw the trailer for it, but hadn't gotten it. It was called Evolve (that's an actual game that recently came out).

"I saw you watching a trailer for it," Tim smiled at Damian's surprised face. He quickly took control of his shock and spoke, "T-Thank you....Tim."

Tim's smile grew at the use of his first name instead of his sur-name, and he let out a soft laugh, "Happy Birthday Dami." Damian smiled at his brother and got an idea.

"You wanna go play?" He asked mischievously.

"You know I'm terrible at games, why would you want me to play?" Tim asked suspicious.

(I don't really know that much about the game, so I'm not sure about this part.) "Well, for one, I won't have to wait for other people to join my team. And I'll get to make a fool out of you," he said with a smile.

"Fine, let's get this over with." Tim sighed, but was happy to be spending time with Damian.

The two played for over 6 hours, only stopping to eat lunch around 1. Damian took every chance he got to tell Tim how truly terrible he was at being both a monster and a hunter. They finally stopped playing around 4 when Tim did the impossible.

"How did you shoot yourself?!" Damian yelled playfully at Tim as they walked downstairs.

"I don't know! I told you I wasn't good at games!" He said turning away and crossing his arms in annoyance, mostly because he was still trying to figure it out himself.

"No, Tim. It takes true skill to do what you did." Damian laughed.

"Oh, shut up. I'm gonna go order a pizza. Why don't you go pick out some movies to watch or something." Tim said going to get the phone, leaving Damian behind.

"Sure," he replied, still laughing lightly. In all honesty, Damian had never felt happier. His mother praising him, meeting his father, becoming Robin; none of it compared. For once in his life, he felt like....he belonged.

He decided on the Saw movies and put the first one in the DVD player in the living room. Tim was fine with the choice, saying he likes the puzzles that are given, although Damian just picked it for the gore.

About 30 minutes into the movie, the pizza came and they ate. They ended up watching the whole series and by the time they got to the last movie it was almost 1 in the morning. Halfway through the last one Tim looked over at Damian and saw that he was asleep on the arm rest of the coach they were sharing.

He smiled at the peaceful look that was on his brothers face and quietly got up. He turned off the tv and cleaned up the small mess they made. When he was done he silently picked Damian up with ease. He was surprised by how light the young boy really was. Damian stirred slightly in Tim's arms, but didn't wake up.

They were both already in their pajamas, which they both seemed to prefer sweatpants and a plain shirt, so when Tim got to Damian's room he simply set him on the bed and pulled the covers over him. Damian turned on his side and snuggled into the blanket.

Tim smiled at him and quietly exited the room. He walked to his room down the hall and went to bed, finally realizing how tired he was. The last thing he remembered was the peaceful look on Damian's face as he slept.
