Midorima's POV

Kuroko and I were still in a state of shock knowing what Akashi's plan is. Thanks to Mayuzumi, we both have an advantage on how to deal with him.

"I'm really worried about the others if they will deal with Akashi." Kuroko said.

"Don't worry, Kuroko. Knowing them, whether they will have a match against Akashi or not, they will be ready." I said and smiled as I brushed his hair.

"Thanks Midorima-kun." He smiled.

"So the only weakness in order to deal with Akashi is you, Kuroko." I said.

"But why does have to be me?" He asked.

"He confessed to you, right?" I asked and he nodded.

"Well, maybe that will be a great use to deal with him." I said.

"I-I hope things will go like we used to be..." He said.

"Why don't we take a shower and go to bed?" I said as I mess his hair.

"Like the old times?" He asked.

"Like the old times." I smirked and we went inside the shower.

After shower...

We finished taking a shower and now I setup the hair dryer to help Kuroko dry his hair. He is cooking our dinner for now because we haven't ate dinner yet.

"You seemed to get used to cooking huh?" I said.

"Well, yeah... It's been a while since I haven't cooked." He said while cooking eggs. He always likes eggs, while I like red bean soup. After cooking, we ate our meal, then cleaned the dishes, until we went inside his bedroom.

"Want me to help you with your hair?" He asked and I nodded. Then, he sat at the bed and I sat in front of him. Then, he started drying my hair.

"Say Kuroko..." I called.

"Yes?" He replied.

"Have you ever been in love with someone? Like a girl maybe?" I asked which shocked him.

"Well... I like someone... But not a girl..." He answered.

"Eh? But Momoi keeps on hugging you, right?" I asked.

"Yeah. But that's already normal. I'm kind of used to it." He said.

"But back to the topic, have you fell in love?" I asked again.

"With a girl, no..." He replied which made me shock.

"You mean... a guy?" I asked and this time, he nodded.

"Yeah... My family already knew about my identity since when I was a kid... They accepted me for who I am... Besides, one guy also fell in love with my dad because they've mistaken him as a girl." He said as he finished drying my hair.

"Wait! Isn't that the time I visited you and they paired us a couple?" I asked and he smiled as he nods.

"Yep. That's the one." He said.

"Wow! That was like, years now!" I said and suddenly pushed him at the bed as I was on top of him. He was in shock as we faced each other.

"M-Midorima-kun?" Kuroko called. I can see his face so red, so I touched it to make sure he's okay.
