Beat Down To The Pulp

Chris POV

I was sleeping until I felt little hands tapping me. I looked at the little person.Nevaeh.

"Wassup little mama"

"I'm scared."

"Of what?"

"Old Daddy."

I sat up looking at her.

"Why?"

"I think I saw him."

I looked at De'Asia. She was still sleep.

"Climb in bed with Mommy."

When she climbed in, I got out the bed. I turned on the tv. I gave her the remote. 

"watch tv until I come back. I'mma lock the door. If you hear the special beat, it's me."

"Ok Daddy."

I got out the room, locking the door.

I walked past Nevaeh's room. I saw  black figure. I walked into her room.

"Wassup my old pal."

"Why are you hear?"

"I want my girls back. You know that the baby is mine too."

"He's not your's."

"Oh really. Where were you when she got pregnant?"

"In the same bed as her."

"Uh huh. 

"I don't know why you're here but you need to leave."

"I don't have to do anything."

"Yes you do. This is my house. Where the ungrateful isn't welcomed."

He laughed. "That dumb b!tch got you whipped."

"Don't call her that."

"What a b-"

'Call her that again. I dare you to."

"Dumb b!tch."

I punched him square in the nose. I saw that the blood was gushing down his face. He spit out blood on the floor and laughed.

"It didn't even hurt."

I punched him again. First in his stomach, then back in his face. I pulled him down, hovered over top of his body and started pounding the mess out of him. I didn't stop until De'Asia came in. She pushed me off of him. Then she held me back.

"Chris calm down."

I looked at her. She looked tired. Nevaeh came into view. "Daddy?"

She looked at Steve and laughed. Steve looked at me. Then at Nevaeh.

He sat up a little bit. Spitting out blood again.

"Nevaeh what's so funny?"

"I told old Daddy that if he ever came back Daddy Chris was going to hurt him. I was right."

De'Asia looked at her and smiled. "Baby go call 911. Tell them we had an intruder."

Nevaeh ran off. "Steve why? Why would you take my baby girl? Why would you come in here? You do stupid things and things like Chris beating you to a pulp happens."

He laughed. "I came here because I love you. De'Asia I haven't stopped thinking about you since the day you told me to go to the mental hospital."

"You're crazy."

"And you're a b!t-" 

I didn't even let the full word come out his mouth I pounced on him. I kept pounding until Nevaeh screamed. I looked at her. I got off of him.

She ran to me. "You ok Daddy?"

"Yeah."

The police came in a couple minutes later. They arrested Steve and then took the rest of us in for questioning.
