The Date

De'Asia POV

I woke up to hearing someone boucing a basketball. I look out the window. It was Chris. I quickly got dressed in a t-shirt and basketball shorts.

When I walked outside, Chris was making shot after shot. Then I grabbed the ball. Then made the shot.

"Oh you stealing balls from n!ggas now?" he said causing me to laugh.

"Maybe."

"One on one?"

"yeah, first to 21."

He checked me the ball. "You first baby girl."

I gave it back to him. "I don't need it."

"Who said that you needed it?" he gave it back to me. I started to run and twist around him and shot the ball.

"Feel intimaded yet?"

"Not even a little bit."

20 minutes later

It was 20-20. I had the ball.

Chris was all up on me. "Shoot the ball."

"Don't worry I will."

Then I shot a 3. Not only winning but up 3 points.

"I WON!!"

"One, why is you loud? and two I let you win. It won't happen again."

"yeah ard."

"Wanna go again?"

"Nah I'm hungry as a b!tch."

"Wanna go out to eat?" I looked at Chris.

"You paying?"

"Yeah."

"Ard."

I went back to the house and jumped into the shower. Not without distraction.

"De'Asia why tf is you going out so early in the day?" Justin asked.

"Justin shut yo b!tch ass up. You 20 or 21 still living with your mova. And your fava, and your cousins etc."

I started running upstairs. "Don't talk bout that. I'm a grown man. I make my own deisions."

"Which is why I said something." I went to the bathroom and got in the shower. Then my mother came in while I was in the shower.

"Baby girl we are going to the movies. Do you wanna go?"

"No thank you. I'm going out with a friend."

"who?"

"A friend."

"Like a boy or Jazmone and Kristianna?"

" A boy ma."

"Ok well I need you to be home by 9."

"Ma."

"10/"

"That's more like it."

"Be safe De'Asia. And if he tries to do anything just yell-"

"whale. Mom I know we been through this so many times before."

"OK just making sure."

Then she left, When she left Deonte came in. I peeped out the shower curtains.

"What are you doing?"

"Peeing."

"Why? There is another bathroom."

"SO." he flushed the toilet then washed his hands then left.

I got out the shower a couple of minutes later. I dried off, lotioned my legs, arms, and stuff.

Then got dressed (Clothes in the mm).

After I got dressed the doorbell rang. I ran downstairs and opened the dorr.

"Come on." Chris said to me.

I grabbed my keys and locked the door then left.

We was in his car. It was quiet.

"Can we listen to some music?"

He turned on the radio. 'Take Me There' by Mya ft Blackstreet was on.

I started singing along.

Chris looked at me.

"What do you know about this song?"

"WHat you mean? Rugrats was the movie."

"True true."

"Yeah, I met a record producer before. He really liked my singing."

"Oh so Chrissy pooh talked to record producer. OS you gonna get signed one day?"

He looked at me. "I'm kinda already singed."

"Oh. Ok."

We got to Kobe's and we sat at our table.

"What would you like to eat?" the waiter asked.

"Sirloin and shrimp." we both said. I looked at him and smiled.

1 hour later

we just got finished eating and we left. "Can I go in your house? My people aren't home." Chris asked.

"Sure."

We got to the house. And we went in.

We went upstairs to my room.

"What do you want to do?"

"Watch a movie."

"Which movie? We have lot."

"Daddy Day Care."

I put it on. "I have to go to the bathroom." I said getting up to go to the bathroom.

"I'm hot!" Chris said.

"Well get comfortable or something."

I went to the bathroom. Used it and changed out of my clothes.

When I came out Chris was laying on my bed. Without a shirt.

"Come here." he instructed me. Pointing to the bed. I climbed onto my bed.

"On me." I climbed on top of him hesitantly. "You know you're really pretty?"

"Maybe."

He kissed me. "Not maybe. You are."
