toru oikawa: outerspace

Y/ns pov

Tears fall down my face as i sit on the wooden platform attatched to the tree in our backyard.
I keep my blanket wrapped tightly around my shoulders as i look out into the night sky.
My eyes focus of my favourite star and sniff, wiping away some of my tears.
I close my eyes and take in a breath of the night air, cool as it enters my lungs and warm as i exhail.
I open my eyes, settling on the moon; fondness for the lonely man on the moon who I've grown attached to.
I can only Imagine the lonely man looking down on me, offering me company when i feel alone or overwhelmed.
If only i could give him my thanks.
For this man has seen me laugh, cry, smile, frown and even on the odd occasion be sick in the garden, but i feel hes always there, offering me the comfort i long for.
He may ask why i need comfort in this moment, well, fighting with your boyfriend over something important to you would warrent the comfort of the stars.
I feel the spot next to me warm and i look to see toru.
I look back at the stars, a fresh batch of tears falling down my face.
I feel him brush them away and i look back at him, he offers me a small smile which i give back.
He places a cup of hot coco into my cold hands which i happily take, i lift the cup to my lips and take a sip, the liquid warming my body up.
I feel toru shiver and i shuffle closer to him, wrapping my blanket around his shoulders.
He looks down at me and takes a breath "im sorry" he says and i nod "i shouldn't have yelled at you when you were just trying to tell me how you felt" he says quietly and i lean my head on his shoulder "look how pretty the stars are tonight" i say softly and his eyes flick to the sky.
He smiles and i feel his arm wrap around my waist, his thumb rubbing against my hip softly.
I take another sip of my hot coco and offer him some, he takes a mouth full and turns back to the sky.
I look up at him and smile, the moonlight illuminating his face; he looks down at me and kisses my forehead "the moon looks beautiful tonight, doesn't it?" He says and the butterflies in my chest flitter about "it does" i whisper.

He picks me up and places me between his legs, my side pressing against his chest and my legs places over to his right.
I lean into him as he positions the blanket around us both.
He kisses the top of my head "do you wanna talk about it now?" He asks and i shake my head "i think you get my point and you've apologised. There's nothing more to talk about" i say softly and he nods.
He points up and a shooting star flies past and i smile "quick! Make a wish" he says and i close my eyes with a smile.

I wish to marry this amazing man with me

I open my eyes to see him already looking down at me "what did you wish for?" He asks and i shake my head with a giggle "if i tell you, it wont come true" i say and he grins at me.
He hugs me and i place the cup down befire wrapping my arms around his waist "im glad you came up here" i say and he nods.
He chuckles and i look up at him "i wonder if any aliens are watching us right now?" He asks and i giggle "if they are, they must be very bored" i say and he laughs.
He tilts my chin up and locks eyes with me "you're beautiful" his lips connect with mine in a soft kiss and i reach up to cup his cheek.
We pull away and i lean my head back against his shoulder.
My eyes start to feel heavy and a yawn escapes my mouth, he looks down at me with a smile and stands up, keeping me in his arms "time for bed".
He walks into the bedroom and pulls the duvet out, he places me on the matress and gets in beside me, pulling the duvet over our bodies.
He pulls me against his chest, my back to him facing the window.
He kisses my neck and holds my hand "goodnight love" i give his hand a squeeze and smile softly to myself "goodnight toru".
I look out the window to the moon and bid goodnight to the stars and the man looking over me.
One day, we will both thank you, but for tonight? We bid you goodnight.
My eyes close and i let the peaceful darkness wisp me to sleep.
