I Pick Maid

As our bodies were heaved out of the van, I took notice to three things. Firstly, we were standing on a beautifully landscaped lawn with stunning trees, flowers and what appeared to be a fountain. Secondly, standing before us was a house that looked like it belonged to royalty, with huge peaks and amazing details, it was fit for any king. Lastly, Mr. Kidnapper Guy had his hand on my boob.

They were quick in dragging Nina and I around the giant foundation and throwing us towards a small building separate from the main house.

When we reached the door, both Nina and I froze.

"What are you waiting for?" Kidnapper Number Two asked, pressing his gun against Nina's back.

With shaking hands, I reached towards the door handle and lightly pushed. To say I was shocked when I saw a huge updated bathroom, would be an understatement.

Before I could peer in, we were both thrown into the room with Number Two following close behind.

"Shower in the two separate areas, there are clothes set out for you on the wardrobe just across from the sinks. You have ten minutes, make them count." He barked quickly before slamming the door on his way out.

A 'please or thank you' wouldn't hurt.

I quickly took in as much of the spacious room as I could. To our left were two sinks sitting on top of a beautiful modern vanity, which sat directly across from an antique wardrobe with clothes laying on it's wooden top. And to either side of the room were doors that lead to what I presumed were the showers.

Without hesitation I grabbed Nina's hand and lead her towards the wardrobe. When I went to pick up the outfit infront of me, I was shocked to feel a slap on my hand.

"They're different outfits." Nina said, as if it was most important thing in the world.

"Well I'm pretty damn sure they don't expect us to share one." I replied, pausing to look back at her.

"No moron, I mean they're different styles." Nina looked back at me, the spark returning to her eyes.

I simply shrugged. "Pick whichever one you want."

I swear she almost jumped up with joy as she grabbed the super colourful beach dress with a plunging neckline and matching 6 inch heels.

I on the other hand, remembered that we were just kidnapped and went for the modest black knee length maid' s uniform.

Better to be the maid than the prostitute.

After hopping in the shower for about three minutes, I threw on the dress and began using the blow dryer on the vanity.

I had absolutely no idea where we were going, and if we were going to be stuck outside in Canada, my hair was going to be dry.

When I had finished blow drying my hair, I had nothing to do but wait as Nina finished getting ready. You'd think she was going to a fashion show with the way she was dressed.

That was one of the things I loved about Nina; even in the worst situations imaginable, she tried to stay as positive as possible.

As I walked around the small building I tried to focus on escape routes and remembering as much as I could about the grounds we saw earlier.

Three minutes later, the door quickly swung open and Kidnapper Number Two stepped in the doorway, stopping to admire Nina.

He had finally taken his black mask off, the only reason I recognized him was because of the studded belt still around his waist.

He was younger than I had expected, perhaps twenty five, but I couldn't be bothered in learning his exact age. Blue eyes stared Nina down as he cleared his throat and ran his hands through his red hair.

From what I could tell, him and Nina were having an incredibly strange stare-down a few feet away from me.

Did we not just get kidnapped?

I cleared my throat. "I could just go if you'd like? I'll be right outside." I said as I went to move passed him, but was cut short as his hand closed around my wrist.

"We haven't even gotten to the fun part yet." He sneered, dragging both Nina and I towards the front doors of the house where my heart froze on my chest.

Define fun.
