I think this idea would be cool to be incorporated into a story, because I haven't seen many stories like that.
the reader would live in the overworld, do her by themselves or with Phil, (this part can be changed) to save the struggle you can write it as the reader already can use their wings properly as they can fly, use their wings as an advantage in combat, etc.
powers that come along with this particular concept are powerful to say the least. reader could be: fire breath, which looks like this

and can deal 7-8 hearts depending on how long an enemy stands in it. this would work as the reader has a special gland designed for the dragon's breath attack.
the reader is also immune to fire and enderman attacks. reason being is that the enderman feel a sense of comfort with the reader, and the enderman are so protective of the reader to the fact that if they hear the reader in pain or fighting something or someone they will attack no questions asked.
eyes. the eyes attack can summon eyes of ender and have an enemy go insane if you look at them for too long. glow. the glow attack makes the reader's eyes glow extremely bright, to the point where you can have hallucinations.
heightened senses. pretty self-explanatory, heightened hearing, agility, etc.
(this the optional section) the reader's height would be taller in comparison to an enderman, (an enderman's height is about 10 feet tall) so roughly about 12-15 feet tall. depending on how tall you want the reader, you can also make them the normal height of a human.
the reader's personality can be flirty, energetic, feisty, and strong-willed. I think the reader should know how to fight pretty well, so they could have somewhat of a chance defending themselves.
(the reader can also travel to the end whenever they wish, and if you want to write an XD fanfic *cough* Blobby005 *cough* you can script it as XD doesn't know how the end barrier is being breached.)
when the reader is in the end, they have could have the option to fully transform into the ender dragon.
you can add wings, horns, and a tail onto the reader to show the dragon genes, but they can hide them.
the ender dragon is know to be a myth across the SMP, and since the reader has been living longer than the period of the gods, they know a lot more than the gods, and other players on the SMP.
