Chapter 7

💚Luis P. O. V💚

A loud knock sounded throughout my room making my heart drop down. Who was at the door didn't I make myself clear that I needed no distractions at the moment .

" Open up Luis "  My mother bellowed from behind the door . " Open this door now or else am breaking it down " Shit " I was in deep trouble my mother had warned me about bringing girls home .

If she found out I was with Riley in here she would trip and that would break her heart since I had promised her not to do that again but I had been tempted when Riley walked in here barely wearing anything and plus I would kiss my Alpha position a good bye if she found her.

" Make her leave , " Riley said and man did she sound annoying everything damn she spoke. " You weren't saying that a few minutes ago " my wolf said. I pretended like I didn't hear him cause I knew he was right.

I mean a guy has his needs , what did I have to do if my mate didn't come sooner than expected . I just had enjoy my life as a single person . So I had fun with a few girls around the pack and they all knew that I didn't do relationships so if they fell for me ,it wasn't my problem.

" Is that Riley in there ? "  my mother angrily snapped making me push Riley to the window. " JUMP OUT NOW OR ELSE I'LL MAKE YOU " I  had to command her using my Alpha voice because she wasn't leaving and am pretty sure my mother is about to smash that door open.

" Just so you know you may kick me out right now but sooner I'll be by your side ruling this pack with you " Riley said thinking I'll make her my Luna one-day , what a jock.
" Yes now go , " the moment I pushed her out the window my mother finally smashed the door open and snarled her canines at me .

" Where is that snake ? "he she asked , " I don't know what you are talking about " I played dumb . "I know she was in here because I can smell her scent , you promised me Luis you told me you would stick to keeping yourself for your mate , " my mother said crying .

That made me sad . I didn't want my mother crying just because I couldn't control myself . My mother continued lecturing me how am a bad mate ,son and future Alpha.
All this talk made me angry at myself so I decided to go for a run to cool my anger.

I walked towards the window and jumped out shifting into my Midnight black wolf .I ran towards the only place where no one would ever find me , the meadow close the river .

As I approached it , I noticed I had a guest . Who the heck dared to step into my secret place ? I was mad actually I was pissed whoever they were was I was going to rip them to shreds.

The closer I got to the meadow a certain scent embraced me , lavender plus a bit of strawberry . I drown in it , it was so mouth watering that my wolf started to drool.

" MATE MATE WE FOUND MATE , "  My wolf happily sang in my head. I ran faster I was so excited to finally see my mate after the long wait .

When I walked into the meadow I saw a  girl who was walking around with what seemed to be a phone in her hands .My world literally stopped , there she was frowning her little face towards her phone for now I didn't care that she was a human , all I cared was that I had finally found her.

What was making her sad ? What happened to her ? I took a step forward wanting to know what was making her upset when suddenly her head snapped in my direction.

Looking down at my paw , I realized I had snapped a twig making her look for the cause of the noise , not finding any she went back to look at her phone.

I walked forward until I was almost close to her until I snapped another twig under my paw . Dang did I have to be so loud !

That suddenly caught her attention making her take steps back .That made me growl , why was she leaving me yet I had just found her ?

I moved forward wanting to go to her until I saw her eyes widen with fear before she fell down widely without any warning making her land on a huge rock behind making her lose her consciousness.

At that , I ran faster shifting midway to find my mate passed out on the ground .I quickly picked her up and ran back to the pack taking her into the hospital .
I ran fast thinking my mate would die in my hands .

The moment I was out of the forest I yelled at this warriors to call the doctor who appeared faster than expected. I rushed my mate to the hospital and put her in Alpha's wing .

" Alpha you are being needed at your office by your father , " I got a mind link from my Gamma . Not wanting to act suspicious , I took my mate to the doctor and told him to  tell me when she woke up and walked out the hospital.

*After Leena's escape *

I grunted out in pain as it exploded in my chest making me to bang my fist against the wall of my office leaving a large whole in it, we had been separated too long and the mate pull was trying to get us back together with my mate.

And right now I just wish it could do that it a less painful way.

The pain was somehow durable for me , I was an Alpha and I had alpha blood flowing in me making me ten times stronger and faster than any regular werewolf.

Plus I had gone through worse  before with the constant trainings I always have with my beta and pack warriors .

My only fear was for my mate , a human , she was probably going insane right now with pain.

I closed my eyes , if I had just found her before she escaped this wouldn't have been happening , she would be here in my care and protection.

I couldn't help the anger I felt towards the Moon Goddess that I got a human as a mate . When I get her , which I will , she will get punished badly .

How dare she run away from me !  I mean have you seen me , am basically a god !
My wolf let out a growl at the thought of our little mate our there exposed to this cruel world.

That day when she was lying in the hospital bad my wolf wanted to mark her right there with no expectations but when I saw the way she looked at me frightened I knew she wouldn't acknowledge the mate bond and that would hurt me , so I let it be.

Every single day I regretted the fact that I didn't mark her, if I did I would have known where she could be right now and keep her in my sight at all times.

I growled out , how could I be so stupid and trust that fake doctor and his fellow nurses on keeping my mate safe so that she couldn't run away or be attacked in her most vulnerable state .

I was surely going to kick them off their jobs . I clenched my fists just thinking about it when I heard a firm knock sounding through the door in my office.

How come I didn't smell anything from afar, Maybe I was lost in my thoughts . Since I was a werewolf I had stronger senses than humans that I could smell anything from the furthest distance possible.

" Enter , " I angrily spat towards the door revealing my Beta , Jordan. Now what the hell did he want from me . I had mind linked every person in the pack not to disturb me since I was busy punching walls and trashing my office .

Mind linking was a form of communication used across the pack as long as you were a member . It was so reliable since you could communicate a single message to all the pack members once needed .

" Alpha the pack warriors are ready for your orders , "  he firmly spoke loud as he looked up at me and then my disorganized office , paperwork everywhere , holes in the wall .

Truth be told I hadn't been able to concentrate on anything since the day i found my mate in the meadow and especially not now when she wasn't here with me.

I stood up from my desk walking over to the door leading to where my Beta stood , it was time to go get my mate back as I had promised her . Well the doctor told her since I had practically mind linked him what to say to her the day she escaped in that old man's shop.
