*Alfred's P.O.V.*

I watched Mattie run off into the hall and disappear. I felt really bad. To be honest, I didn't even know he was sitting right there. When he yelped, I had turned my head thinking that commie bastard, Russia, had cursed the chair with all his comminess or something. It took a while before I saw someone who looked like me before I realized it was my bro, Mattie!

I sighed, leaving the room, knowing it was no use going after Matt. he was a fast runner and I didn't even see which way he went. He was acting so strange, was he feeling alright? I mean he even called me dude! He never uses the word dude! I kept thinking about these thinks as I walked out of the conference room. Once I got outside, I was greeted by England.

"Oi, what's wrong with you, you bloody wanker! I just saw you run out the door! How the bloody hell did you end up back in that conference room!?"

I stayed there, confused for a moment, before I realized. Canada. "Oh, your talking about Mattie." I have a heroic laugh. "Cool, can you tell me which way he- hey what's the matter with you?" England wore an extremely confused expression before he let out a sentence that made my chest sting a little.

"Who is Mattie?"

I gave him a look of shock look. "What the hell do you mean 'who's Mattie'!?" I somewhat said loudly. "You know, Canada? The one with the polar bear! The country of maple syrup and hockey? Your son?!"

"Oh, him." Britain said, with a hint of disgust. "Yes, I suppose I remember him. He was always such a weak colony," England said with a sneer, "you were much better. It was a shame you decided to break away though, really."

I suddenly felt a rush of anger surge through him. 'How dare he speak about uh- Mattie like that!' I suddenly felt the urge to smack the Brit silly. "Well I'm sorry you feel that way," I said through clenched teeth, "well if you don't mind, I'll be leaving now." And before he had a chance to say anything, I turned and left.

That's it, I'm going over to Mattie's place to see if he was alright. I don't care what he said, he is not alright. And since I am the hero, it is my job to help those in need.
