I'm so excited! I'm going off to Hogwarts today. I can't wait to find out what house I'm on though I am nervous. I'm almost confident that I won't get into Slytherin, but what if I do. My uncle Harry tells me that even Slytherin wouldn't be so bad, and everyone will still love me but I am very nervous, especially since my uncle Ron makes jokes about disowning me.
There is another Weasley heading off to Hogwarts like me, but I'm not exactly happy about it. My boring cousin Molly is also starting her first year. We never got along to well, her being everyone least favorite cousin, and me being one of the favorites.
LATER THAT DAY
All my aunts and uncles and cousins came to see me off. My younger siblings and cousins are looking at me wistfully. One by one my aunts and uncles come up to hug me and say goodbye.
My aunt Ginny tells me to say hi to Professor Longbottom for her and my uncle George tells me to send him a toilet seat, hence my aunt smacking his head.
Before I know it I'm off waving by goodbye to everyone from the train. Molly ditches me for some weird girl named Ellen. I slide into a compartment occupied with some nervous looking first years.
A pretty girl named Sophie Bell smiles at me. "Hey I'm Sophie, no need to introduce yourself, we all know who you are" she says this all in one breath. She points to the other people in the compartment. "That's Emma Brown" She points to a pretty back haired girl. "That's Damian Thomas" she points to a dark skinned boy. "And last but not least Hanna Jones." The pretty red head smiled shyly.
A FEW HOURS LATER
Professor McGonagall placed the sorting hat on the first years head. I spaced out nervously until Sophie's name was called. "HUFFLEPUFF" The hat cried out. Then Emma got sorted into Gryffindor. Hanna and Damian soon joined her and a Sandy haired boy named Caleb Finnigan. Then before I knew it my name was called.
"Pretty but not vain, clever and confident, brave but not big headed. I think you would do best to be in....GRYFINDOR!"
