Victoire Weasley and the Betrayal (book one)

Midnight (part one)

3rd person POV :
12 hours before Midnight
Damian and Teddy were both pacing in the common room when suddenly they heard a top on the window. They opened it up and in flew two owls. Teddy took one and it had a picture of Victoire, looking all tortured. Damian's picture was of Emma looked all tortured. They both had notes on it saying 'you have until Midnight to rescue them. Otherwise they're in forever. As for Hanna and Caleb... they might already be dead. And as for me.... find me.... If you can'
Damian and Teddy both looked at each other in horror, before grabbing their broomsticks and riding off.

10 hours before Midnight
Damian's POV
Teddy and I had left our wands and broomsticks and all other objects in a bin in the front of the shed. We descended down many flights of stairs. We eventually reached a long corridor and started walking down it. Suddenly there was blood splattered all over the hallway. I touched it and realized it was dry. We followed to blood all the way to two doors. One said my name on it and the other door said Teddy. We looked at each other mouthed "good luck" and walked through our doors.

Teddy's POV
I walked in saw I was on a cliff and to go forward I had to jump. Since I would do almost anything for Vic I jumped. I fell on shards of glass. I had twisted back my right arm and my left foot was all cut up. I had to take my shoes off earlier. I ripped off my sleeves and with one of my sleeves I made a bandage and the other a sling.
I found a stick and used it as a cane. I limped along and when I saw what my next challenge was I screamed in frustration. I had to walk across a tightrope. If I fell into the water and I was still alive I would get eaten by sharks. How on Earth was I supposed to do this? It wasn't like I could fly. I didn't have my wand or broom so what could I do. I sat on the floor and shot up. I could fly. How could I forget I could change my appearance. I made wings grow out of my shoulders (A/N I have no clue of a Metamorphogus can actually do this but let's just pretend they can) and I flew over the rope and water.
The next room was creepy. I had changed myself back and my hair was the blue it usually is. And that's what I saw in the mirror. I saw myself with a group of people surrounding me most in back of me but I was hugging some of them. When I looked closer I saw my parents and grandparents surrounding me behind me and in my arms was - Vic and two little kids, a boy and a girl. I saw a note on the floor in front of the mirror. I picked it up. 'So you've made it so far. This is a riddle that you'll have to pass. Can you guess what the mirror does? If not, have fun in here forever.

The note ended there. I read it over and over until I finally realized what it meant. I thought back to all of my godfather Harry's adventures in school and I remembered a story about a mirror. I remember that whole conversation in fact.
*flashback*
A young Teddy sat on a couch in Harrys house, crying while looking at a picture of his parents. He didn't even hear Harry walk in. He didn't notice him until Harry clapped a hand on his shoulder. "Teddy are you OK?"
I looked up to him in tears. "Why did my parents leave me that night? I mean I understand why my dad went but why did my mum have to go to. I was told that she was with my grandmother my she decided to leave me with her. Why did she do that? Your parents didn't have a choice and they chose to sacrifice themselves for you. But my parents left me."
Harry looked kind of sad. "Your parents did it because they loved you and wanted you to have a happy childhood even if it meant growing up without them. They both chose to go together. Believe me Lupin - I men's your dad was so proud of you and he loved you so much. I remember him running to tell everyone the news as soon as you were born. And your lucky you have loving friends and family to tell you about them. The first time I saw a picture of my parents was when I found a mirror in Hogwarts and It showed me what I wanted the most and showed me surrounded by my family. " *flashback ovet*
I spoke in a clear voice. "It shows you what you want the most. For me it shows me with my grandfather who I never knew and my parents, and Vic and me having a family because I love her so so much. "
The mirror fell over and shattered and I got glass in my feet. Behind Behind the mirror a door opened up and I hobbled out of it.

7 hours before Midnight
Damian's POV
I was stuck to the wall having little shards of glass thrown at me. Luke was in the room with a knife over Caleb's throat. If I screamed he would die. I had another 15 minutes in here before I could move on to my next challenge. I wanted to scream out in pain but I wasn't about to be the cause of my best friends death. If he was still alive. He looked dead, his eyes were rolled up in his head and the only way you could tell he was still alive was the rasping breaths he took every few seconds. His blonde hair was matted with blood and his nose was broken. A particularly large piece of glass flew into my ear and I almost screamed but I bit down on my tounge on time, feeling my mouth filling with blood.
15 minutes later I was walking out of the room. My arm was definitely broken in 3 places and I probably lost more blood then I should have but I would do anything for Emma.
I hope Caleb is still alive. I hope Hanna is to, but I could just imagine little Natalie's face if her brother died. And his father... he had already lost so much.
The next room had a round table in it. A little card on the table told me I had to answer questions about Emma's life to be able to continue.
Alison appeared in a box in front of me and started asking me questions.

Back at Hogwarts
All the Weasleys, Potters, Teddy's grandmother, the Thomas family, and the Finnigans were in a room together waiting for news. Suddenly the door opened up and everyone jumped up eager for new. It was McGonagall and she had tears streaming down her face. "Our only witness, Miss Fae had killed herself. Apparently the shock of everything that happened over this whole year was a little to much. You know, sometimes it all gets a little to much. We will hold a funeral for her soon. Fleur, Bill, since she was your neice would you please come with me."
They silently got up.
After that nothing was happening so the kids took it into their own hands. They all left quickly and the parents didn't even try to stop them. They went up to Teddy's dorm room and found the two notes that were delivered to them.

Back to Damian's POV (5 hours before Midnight)
It had been two hours and I had gotten every single question right so far and Alison was asking me my last question. "What is Emma's sisters full name?" I had no clue. "I don't know" I admitted.
Alison smiled a scary smile. "I guess you have to stay here and Emma will just die thinking you abandoned her. " "No please I'll do anything to pass."
She pretended to think for a moment. "Hmm I guess there is one thing. I kill Caleb."
"Can you show me him before I'd decided. "
She dragged his body into the room. As he took a rasping breath I realized he was slowly dying and killing him would put him out of his pain. He was dying anyway and nothing would change that.
I silently nodded me head at Alison and she lifted her wand up. "Avada Kdavra!"

A/N No the book is not over. I'm going away for the whole summer in a few days so I won't be able to update so frequently. Sorry for killing off Danielle I didn't like that she labeled the same name as me and she want important so I cut her away.
Anyway I was crying while writing the part when Caleb died. All that hotness dead.... I hate that I had to kill him off.
