Megatron was already angry over Darkmount. The fortress he'd worked so hard to obtain, decimated by a somehow resurrected Optimus Prime... it was infuriating. And all because the Prime had somehow not been extinguished! ...Perhaps there was a reason for that.

The strange femmes they'd collected were now known to possess knowledge of the future, knowledge that the Autobots could have also had access to considering they possessed similar assets. Were they the reason for this defeat? Did they tell their new Autobot friends all about Darkmount and its weaknesses? Did the femmes he had in his possession know about this?! Oh how he wished he could drag it out of them via the cortical psychic patch, but according to Shockwave, that was no longer an option. So, the warlord would have to resort to older methods, and that was exactly what he planned to do.

The muffled sounds of metal clanging and shots firing echoed from the doors of the training arena, signifying that the room was certainly in use. Opening it up revealed exactly who was using it was well: Midnight, the one who seemed to lead the little cluster of femmes they'd captured.

Since they'd been on the warship, all of the original femmes had improved in terms of combat, including Darkfin. Granted all the Shark-ta-con could seem to do was smash, but he'd hoped to see what she could do in water once they had more control over her. The stealthbot also was learning fast, with her having grown quicker and more calculated with each training session. But her form was still weak; too weak for how he played. Midnight's, however, would do just fine.

As Midnight took out the last of the vehicon soldiers, she quickly readjusted her position and prepared for another wave. But there would be no other wave; not from vehicons at least.

"Midnight." The warlord's voice quickly made the femme whip around, optics wide with both surprise and fear, but she quickly forced herself to get it together.

"Lord Megatron-!" A quick reply, one followed by the femme brushing aside imaginary dust from her armor. "...What brings you here?"

"The desire of a sparring match." He wasted no time laying down what he wanted, though his piercing gaze said that he desired way more than that. "You've been improving quite rapidly despite having arrived not so long ago, so why not test your luck? I'm sure this will be a great learning experience."

Yeah, Midnight definitely knew what this would turn into, and the worst part was that she had no real way of backing out of it. "...While I'm flattered, Lord Megatron, I don't think I'm ready to face you in combat-"

"I wasn't asking." The sound of the doors shutting behind the warlord said it all as he began to approach, Midnight taking a few paces back in return. This was bad. He was angry, and she knew how this always went. She was about to get pummeled, and there was truly no way out of it. This would be a test of survival, meaning she would have to try and scrape through it. But she wasn't going to just run and cry like some coward.

The match started with the two circling each other until Megatron made his first move. Midnight, quickly, moved to dodge, the femme tumbling out of the way and attempting to circle around back. But it was so obvious that she was green; even when trying to emulate her character, she was still fresh scrap metal, fresh enough for Megatron to smack her aside before she could get too far. Tumbling, Midnight smashed into a wall, momentarily dazed by the impact. She'd never been hit like that before. Yes she had. No she hadn't. Both were right, but she had no time to dwell on that now, not with Megatron approaching.

"I've been wasting many resources on you femmes. The amount of training and time I and the Decepticons put into you is immense!" Megatron attempted to strike yet again, but Midnight rolled and scrambled up, circling around the mech a second time. Another swat was attempted, but she jumped back and then jumped forward. However, he tossed her aside again, and the monologuing continued.
