"Our sensors have detected a massive energon burst occurring in Earth's atmosphere!" Ratchet announced, quickly catching the attention of the other bots in the room. Everyone was here today, save for the humans, but that was to be expected considering what part of the plot they were in.
"A surge of that kind can only mean one thing: Activation of another space bridge," the medic continued, Optimus then giving the mech a nod of acknowledgement before turning towards the rest.
"Megatron has discovered the location of the Omega Lock on Cybertron," stated the Prime. "But he is unaware that we possess the means of interstellar travel. The element of surprise remains in our favor."
"Heck yeah! We're going to Cybertron!" Katrina cheered, quickly catching the attention of the rest of the bots. While she was punching the air in excitement though, Titaniumwrench had placed a servo on her shoulder.
"We're... notteh best fighters," Titaniumwrench told her with a sheepish smile, only for Katrina to quickly move her off.
"Well you haven't had much training, but the rest of us have! I can actually use my bow now!" cheered the cyberwolf, though once again, her happiness was squandered by a simple sentence from Optimus.
"Katrina, you and your friends will remain here."
"What?!" This surprised no one when Katrina reacted in that fashion, especially since she'd been so excited to go. "Why?! We can fight! I can at least! They'll never expect a cyberwolf to show up!"
"The Decepticons tried to capture you and got three of your friends in the process," Arcee pointed out with a frown. "If Optimus let you go and you got hurt, that would be on our servos."
"Sorry kids, she's kinda right," Bulkhead chimed in, the mech seeming to feel bad for the group.
"We're not kids! Well, at least not anymore," Katrina said, only for Nightblade to wheeze, "We're mentally teens you know-"
"Mentally, but not physically!"
"Yeah Kat, but we're still not going," Starblade said with a sigh, Titaniumwrench patting Katrina's back once again.
"Better luck nextime," said the teal femme with a sympathetic smile, Katrina not moving her servo this time.
Now that the femmes and the one mech involved seemed cooperative, Optimus then proceeded to order the other Autobots to gear up, each heading to the back and returning with the relics they'd collected. It was iconic to watch, at least in the eyes of the Quotevians. They'd already watched this scene play out before, and seeing it again in person was even better, even if they didn't have the cool background music.
Once all of the Autobots had essentially signified they were ready, Optimus gave his classic command of, "Autobots, roll out!" and thus, their trip to Cybertron began, and so did the string of boredom the four would have to endure.
"Well this sucks. What should we do?" Katrina asked, only for Starblade to say, "I'm going to go tell Jinx. Can you guys tell me if anything happens?"
"Yeah," Nightblade replied, and thus Starblade headed off, Katrina then exclaiming, "Why don't the rest of us come with? We can all talk to Jinx!"
"I don't care where you all talk so long as you don't bother me," Ratchet snapped, the remaining bots then looking to him with a frown. "If you want to stay here, then keep it down. And if you're going to talk to Starjinx then don't open the cell!"
