The last thing any of the femmes had wanted was for the cortical psychic patch to be used. After all, everyone knew how dangerous it was for not only the one getting patched, but the group as a whole. The ability to comb through a Quotevian's memories, finding out what their future holds... That was bad. And worse yet, they didn't know if their minds could even handle the patch. All Starjinx and the others could do was hope that it probably could, because now, it was time to get set up.
The first thing they'd done was separate Starjinx from the other femmes, Megatron ordering Soundwave to watch them while Knockout set up the patch. On the other side of the room was Starjinx, who had been restrained to a medical berth, much to Darkfin's annoyance. Sure, they'd all seen the little tussle she and Megatron had had over it, but that didn't make her any less tense; that was her friend after all, not to mention they were either going to watch her die or watch the future of the Decepticons play out before them. Or, maybe both would happen here. Hopefully not. Either way, the femme knew that this situation was very dire, and considering how tense her other two friends were, she figured they knew too.
"Alright. Is everyone ready? My liege?" Knockout then looked in the direction of the warlord, the red mech walking towards him with the device in hand. First he'd get patched in, then Starjinx. That was how it went; Darkfin remembered that much.
"Whenever you're ready, Doctor," was all Megatron had to say, and with that, the procedure began. First Megatron was hooked up to the patch, and then Starjinx followed suit, both bots falling into stasis as their processors became linked.
While it didn't take long for Megatron to get used to standing in the middle of this currently empty void, Starjinx took some time to properly appear. It was annoying to have to wait, but it didn't take long before eventually, the femme flickered into view, red optics focusing on her hand as she shifted from her cybertronian form to what he assumed was her human holoform in wonder.
"Yooo... I can change my appearance in here!" And already, Megatron was kind of regretting not patching in one of the other femmes.
"Starjinx." The warlord watched Starjinx jump for a second, her form flickering back into her cybertronian one as she trained her gaze on him.
"Ah-! Megatron-!"
"Lord Megatron," the warlord corrected, clearly annoyed with her antics. "Calm down. You're alive, and you will remain as such if your memories prove truthful."
That was exactly what Starjinx was worried about.
"Uh... Cool then. So uh, what do you wanna know?" The femme then raised an eyebrow as she looked around the empty void, only to then hear Megatron give his answer.
"Let's start with the pod you were found in." With one swift order from the warlord, the void began to shift, both then appearing in a cell at what Megatron assumed was the former Autobot base. Standing right at the edge of said cell was another version of Starjinx, though this version was locked in a conversation with what Megatron could see was another Autobot.
"So your plan is to have me just throw Airachnid out of the stasis pod and snag it for myself?" asked the femme, only to then watch as the bot outside the door give what Megatron assumes was a nod.
"Basically, yeah," the femme replied, Starjinx snorting in response.
"You know that's gonna kinda mess up the plot, right? Airachnid's supposed to appear in that zombie episode," Starjinx reminded, thus causing Megatron to quirk an optic ridge as they continued to speak.
