The Right Kind of Love

Chapter 4

        "I ... I ... think we should enter into a courtship. Because.... because these feelings that I am having for you aren't Godly but I don't want to let you go."

        "What's a courtship?" 

        "Well some people interpret it to mean having chaperones on every date and never being alone.But to me it means never kissing or having sex until marriage and dating the way God intended for us to do it." 

        "That sounds amazing. I have never met a guy like you before. I love the idea!" i said reaching my arms out to give him a hug.

        "And very few of these" he said slightly shoving my arms away. "They only make this more difficult....... because you are the most beautiful woman I have ever met and the tiniest things you do turn me on okay?" he said exasperated.

        "I understand. This is going to be difficult." i said giggling

        "No one said it was going to be easy but I think it's what God wants me to do until I get married okay?"

        I shook my head yes.

        "Okay and before we get ahead of ourselves I have a few questions. Are you a virgin? Do you plan on getting married? Will us being abstinent bother you? And how do you feel about this all?"

"Okay that's a lot of questions but yes I'm a virgin" I said giggling awkwardly. "Yes I want to get married someday. No being abstinent is perfect and I think that's what God wants from me also and I love all of this!! I am so very excited to start our journey!" i almost yelled.

        "Great. I was so worried to tell you all of this but I'm so glad I did. I couldn't bare the thought of not having you for another day. I'm excited too! Now give me a holy high five." he said with a huge smile on his face.

        "Ha ha you're so funny" I said laughing at his corner joke and giving him a high five.

I started the engine ready to get back to the office. I looked up the sky thanking the Lord for all his blessings and for bringing me Adrian. i hope we have many more moments like this one.
