Tied to chairs, Lady P explains to them that James' father isn't King Henry after all, therefore no threat to her reign and merely a plaything. Eliza is the one she wants dead. Then Catherine comes up behind her, hits her on the head with a broom. Lady P grabs her and rests a dagger on her throat. Catherine screams "run". James hesitates but Eliza grabs his hand and yanks him away.
