I heared someone aggressively hitting my room door

"Enter." I roll my eyes.

Sovieshu rushed in, how unexpected.

"Did you cut rashta- did you have a fight I didn't know about?!" he said sprinting towards me.

"Not that I remember, no," I said pretending to think "Why are you entering a woman's chambers while she eats? Have you lost all etiquette?" I roll my eyes

he stayed silent, deep in thought.

"I could help with the dead guard... I mean it would be better than you, ofcourse." I said continuing to eat,

"I dont believe you'd be able to find the murderer...you're quite, dumb."

"Please, says the emperor who makes his wife do almost everything, I bet you got a slave for a mistress because all the noble women were too good for you."

"I- fine I'll let you do it but I'm getting a professional to check after you!"

"Why? Do you feel threatened by my comment?" I smirk,

"W-we need to talk about you disappearing though." He stuttered, trying to change the subject.

"What, can't someone learn a little magic?"

"Ugh, nevermind." He sighed, rolling his eyes "Start investigating after you eat, I'll cover for some of your commissions."

"Alright, whatever you say, YoUr MajEsTy."

"Time for work." I sighed putting on some gloves and leaving my room.

I go to the crime scene to see people crowding around from afar

"Please, move," I told.

"Oh?"
"she's the professional?"
"I heard she's finished a case before,"

The people's gossip were like soft whispers but loud enough for me to hear.

"It's rude to talk about people when they're right infront of you, you know?"

"Apologies, my lady."

I nod, continuing to pretend I'm investigating,

I grab the sword and get some blood on the cotton bud and put it in the container for testing

I was about to leave when rashta passed by with a frightened look on her face.

"Hey," I said looking at rashta slowly walking up to her, how convenient.

She looked at me scared, while I look down on her. I smiled innocently since some of the palace maids never saw me being violent, they've only heard rumors.

I unwrapped the bandages and looked at it for awhile then wrapped it back

I whistle to call the guards attention and get them to guard rashta's room.

I look back at rashta and sarcastically smile slowly walking away with things for testing in the bag.
