I open my eyes to be blinded by the bright light from the window. I sit up and shield my eyes from the window blinking a couple times.

Once my eyes got used to the light I looked at the window to be met with Melissa, she finished wiping the window sill. she looks at me, curtsied, and left the room.

I rubbed my eyes. 'she probably has alot of things to do today.' I got out of bed and got ready.

4:00 PM

I was walking around the halls as usual until I passed by sovieshu's office.

"Nothing you say is going to make me forgive your brother." He said

I heared a chair being pushed back and sovieshu continued "If that's what you're going to ask then I suggest you give up."

They stayed silent after that so I continued walking. I pressed my hand on my forehead.

I stopped walking after realizing how fast I was going and that I didnt even know where I was going.

I looked to my left to see a dim lit room, the lights in the room were turned off and the only thing giving light was the sun outside.

Bang

"What the fuck!!" I blurted "who's room is that?"

Suddenly I saw a green haired girl rashta is always with, it's her lady-in-waiting maybe?

She walked by me, knocked on the door, and opened it.

"Lady rashta his majesty wants to see you," she said.

I continued walking back to my room knowing they would only talk about having rashta to be the empress for a year and navier will over-hear the part where he plans a divorce.

'I should head to the library'

The librarian is on a day off and the maids who clean here are cleaning a different part of the palace at this time so the whole library was empty.

The wooden stairs creak as I went up them. Once I reached the second floor I decided it'd be faster to use magic.

I reach my hand out and books started flying towards me.

I grab them one at a time and read the title, stacking the ones I wanted on the floor and returning the others.

I had a large stack of books by now so I left the library and continued walking to sovieshu's office

Atleast that's what I heared from the corner of the hall.

I saw navier running away from the door.

Until she tripped, she caught herself with a hand on the wall and stopped running.

"You alright?" I asked, acting as if I hadn't known about the situation.

She clenched her fist against the wall, her facial expressions show she's clearly deep in thought.

I walk closer to her "You should get some rest."
