IT'S BEEN A YEAR AFTER THE INCIDENT..Katherine was informed about Edward's well being and what has happened..

Believe or not, Katherine was a little hurt, the fact that bella didn't even ask her if she could turn into a vampire after saving both bella and her little boy toy multiple times.

Marie has been distancing herself from Katherine and Katherine doesn't know a single clue why...

But this past couple months, Katherine felt extremely lonely and empty..

Of course this isn't the first time she felt like this but this time, it was different..

She started to feel empty, tired, and the days felt like they molded into one endless loop hole

She haven't fed any blood as she didn't seem to crave any, she started feeling bored..

She downloaded social media to see if it could help her..

And it somehow did, she downloaded Tumblr and started reading some stories..

Music was also one of the things that kept her distracted.

She didn't have a specific type of music nor an aesthetic since she never stayed into one...

It mostly does depends on her mood..

she is now walking back at her house as she carried some sawing tools.

she looked around the place as she walked, she suddenly felt someone tugging at shirt.

she looked behind her and saw a child carrying some flowers or what they called in filipino ''Bulaklak''

'' Bili na po kayo ate (please buy some, miss) " the child voice was filled with desperation and tiredness as katherine took pity at the child

she reached in her pocket and grab 5000 pesos in her pocket or in dollar translation, $100

" Oh heto na, sayo na yung suklian ( Here, keep the change)'' as she took the bundle of flowers while the child ran towards his mother..

katherine looked down at the flowers and realized those weren't just any flowers. they were jasminum sambac or in the philippines sampaguita, the national flowers..

she smiled for a bit but that smile didn't last as a memory flashed through her mind...

"katerina!'' A young man voice screamed as he ran towards her, katerina looked behind her and saw a young man who had long brunette hair, pale skin, full lips, round golden eyes..

she smiled as lucas made his way towards her with something in his hands..

" Lucas!" katerina yelled back as she ran towards him, enveloping him in a tight hug but wasn't something that could hurt lucas..

lucas smiled as he wrapped his arms around katerina, gently..

"You've returned!" katerina exclaimed pure happiness laced in her voice

" of course, I did. I couldn't leave my best girl behind. can't I?'' lucas playfully questioned

" Of course, you cant you silly goose" katerina answered , happy to see her only friend

Both Lucas and Katerina giggled as they ran towards of the forest..

As they walked further deeper in the forest in silence, Lucas suddenly tapped Katerina's shoulder making her turn around and saw Lucas handing her some white flowers.

"Jasminum sambac flower also known as sampaguita! Only for you" Lucas stated as Katerina took the flowers from his hand..

"They're beautiful..... But I think we could some more improvement" Katerina said as she sat down on ground. Lucas sitting down beside her

Katerina took the flowers and grabbed some vines and making some sort of pattern..

Lucas sat down on the ground looking lovingly at Katerina..

He snapped out of his daydream when Katerina spoke

"Here! I'm finished!" Katerina said in a very joyful manner

"Now stay still" Katerina ordered as Lucas obediently does, she placed the sampaguita crown on top his head carefully

"There!"

Lucas touched on top of his head but only to be slapped by Katerina..

"Hey! Don't touch the crown, you'll mess it up" Katerina ordered as Lucas smiled..

Katerina pulled out another crown but before she could put it in her head, she was stopped by Lucas, who grabbed the crown from her hands..

Katerina seemingly understand Lucas as she placed her head down feeling the flower crown and the gentle cold hands

Once Lucas placed the crown on top of her head, he placed his hands on Katerina's cheek stroking it gently before leaning down to kiss her hairline..

Katerina then felt the sudden burst in her heart, butterflies on her stomach..

"Now, you look like a princess. My princess that I care for" Lucas whispered as he put his forehead on top of hers.

"I care for you more" Katerina replied. Happy, content and calm..

"That isn't possible" Lucas said jokingly as both of them giggled

These were the moments where Katerina forgets her past life and trauma..

Katherine snapped out of her thoughts as she smiled at the memory while she haven't noticed tears were leaking from her eyes before she could stop them

"I care for you more, Lucas" Katherine whispered as a sob escaped from her..

Guilt, regret and sadness is all she felt..

How come the happiest memory turned into her nightmare...
