Chapter 11

Nicci's pov

When I got to the gym that afternoon I saw Caitlin, Mia , Bree and two other girls I didn't know. When they saw me they all walked away in different directions Bree and Mia taking the new girls with them. " who are the new girls?" I asked Caitlin as she was chalking up for bars. " They aren't new, they have been here for a month and a half. You just haven't been here" she said and walked over to the bars. I've missed out on so much already.

Allie's pov

Bree and Mia were on vault with me and Samara. We came to this gym a month ago and we already love it. Although Bree, Mia, and Caitlin said to stay away from Nicci for now. She hasn't been focusing very well. Olympic Trials were next week and we are so exciteed. I can't wait to compete. My older sister and 2008 olympic gold medalist Shawn is going to be there. She inspired me to do gymnastics, just like Bree and Mia's older sister did for them. I know Samara's sister is going to be there too. Her older and mine have been friends since the 2008 olympic games. This time its my turn to go.

Nicci's pov

The girls are getting on my last nerves. They keep ignoring me as if I'm invisible. I hate it. We used to be so close. Maybe I did change. I was hanging out with Liam so much that I forgot all about my friends. Well I'm gonna make it up to them. Just as I thought that I heard the bang of the closing gym door. " Niall and Zayn in the house!" Niall screamed as they walked out onto the floor. Bree and Mia both run over to them and give them big hugs. "Awwww" Caitlin, Allie, and Samara said. Ok I'm confuesed. They approve of Mia and Bree dating Niall and Zayn , but I can't date Liam? Wow. " Ok, let me get this straight. Mia and Bree are allowed to date Niall and Zayn, but I can't date Liam. Why? I mean you guys told me boys were a distraction that they would only get in the way. Now you are dating them. Unbelievable." I screamed at them. Niall and Zayn let go of Mia and Bree. " You said that about us? How could you. We have been nice to you and taken you to nice places only to have that said about us." Zayn yelled at them. Mia and Bree took a couple steps towards them but they just backed away." I can't believe we wasted our time with you. Let's go Zayn." and with that final statement they left. I turn back to the girls who are all glaring at me. Mia and Bree have tears in their eyes just waiting to fall. " We thought you wanted to make things right. Apperently you just wanted to make things worse." Mia stated and then she , Bree, Caitlin, Allie, and Samara all packed there gym bags and left. Leaving me standing in the middle of the gym. How could I have been so stupid. I wanted to make things right between us yet I just messed up again. " Arrrrggghhh" I scream at no one in particular. I'm so made at myself. I went over to the vault runway and started practicing. I wanted to go to the Olympics with my friends. Not just for me. I ran as hard as I could and landed my double full off the vault. After vault I went to bars. I did 10 routines and made sure they were as perfect as they could be. Then I went to beam. My favorite. I did 10 first halves and 10 second halves then 5 full routines. Then the last event was floor. I pulled out my phone and played my music and started my routine. I did that 10 times then colapsed on the ground. I heard clapping from behind me. I sat up to see Mia, Bree, Caitlin, Allie, and Samara all standing there. " What are you guys doing here? I thought you left," I asked standing up. " We actually just slammed the door hard making you think we left then just went upstairs to see what you would do." Mia stated shrugging her shoulders in the process. " All we wanted Nicci was for you to focus. You never focused in practice because you never had a purpose. When you thought we were made at you that made you work harder. That's all we really wanted. We wanted our teammate back." Bree said. She and the girls walked closer. " Teammates?" They asked together. " Teammates." I said and we all went in for a group hug. I'm so glad that I have my team back.
