Chapter 9

Nicci's pov

The past couple weeks have been hectic. The Olympic Trials are coming up and Yufei is working us harder than usual. Mia gets to compete at the trials, so she is working super hard. Bree and Mia have been jumping from event to event and you can't even tell who is who. I was getting water from my bag when someone covered my eyes. " Guess who." they said and I knew exactly who it was. I spin around and meet the beautiful eyes of my boyfriend. Yes, Liam and I started dating a couple weeks ago. " Hey Liam. How did the sound check for your concert tonight go?" I asked. He smiled. " Good and I was wondering if you and the girls would like to come with us to the concert. I nodded my head. Then he pecked my lips and left. I got back to practice and all the girls were staring at me. " What? It's not like you guys haven't seen us kiss before." I said. The girls just stood there staring then Bree came up to me. " Olympic Trials are in 2 weeks and you said that we would go to a concert. Have you met us. We don't have time for that stuff. What has happened to you? Before you would've said no, but now you've gone boy crazy. So if you are still going to that concert with you're little boyfriend than go ahead but don't expect us to come." she said than she and the other girls walked away. One thought kept going through my mind. Have I really changed that much?

Bree's pov

Mia and I were walking home when someone called our names. We turned around to find Niall and Zayn running up to us. " Damn. You guys are fast walkers" Niall said. I shrugged. " So what do you boys want so bad that you followed us home?" Mia asked. The boys looked at each other debating on who was going to talk first. Then Zayn finally spoke up. " We were wondering if you guys wanted to catch a movie tomorrow. You know like a friendly kind of thing." He said looking at the ground the entire time. Mia and I debated on what to do and finally agreed on an answer. "Sure" we both said at the same time. " It might be fun. I mean we spend so much time at the gym we never have time to let loose so yeah we'll come. What time?" I said. " We will pick you up at 8 be ready" Niall said. They both gave us quick hugs than walked away. I hope that there will be no drama tomorrow. I have had enough for this week.
