Chapter 3

Nicci's pov

It has been 3 days since I saw Mia in the hospital. She is  improving and she can walk, but she can't compete this weekend at Nationals. Right now Yufei my coach is pushing us to do the best vaults we can do. I usually do very well at these meets, so she isn't really worried about me. The highest score I can get on an event is a 10.0. I always get 9.8. Now I am determind to get a 10.0 or a 9.9.  Yufei gave us a 20 minute lunch break. Bree(Brynnan) Caitlin and I sat in our usual spot. And as always I am the last one to go on twitter. I opened the app to see that I now had over a thousand followers. I thought it was sweet. Then I saw a new post from Liam.

The lads and I are heading to the London National Gymnastics Championships this weekend. so to all my fello gymnasts out there competing good luck. :)

I smiled at the tweet and closed the app. Maybe I might be able to meet Liam. Our 20 minutes was over and it was back to practice. As I'm walking out onto floor I see five figures step in from the door. Then Caitlin lets out an earpearcing scream. The one she does when she is fangirling. And I knew One Direction had come to our gym. This is going to be a great practice.

Liam's pov

The lads and I decided that we were gonna go to the local gymnasium and wish the competing gymnasts luck for tomorrow. When we entered the gym we were met with many fans. One girl caught my eye. She wasn't swarming around us like the other girls. She was getting ready to tumble across the floor. Louis walked over to me and patted my back. " Seems like daddys got a crush." Louis said giving me a small smirk. " I do not. Its just she the only girl in the gym who didnt come to us and ask for an autograph. That's all" I lied although it was half true. Maybe I did have feelings for this girl. When she went to get a drink of water I took this as a chance to talk to her. " Hi. Im Liam Payne from One Direction." She looked up at me. " My name is Nikia Loy, but everyone calls me Nicci." My eyes grew wide. She was the girl that helped me get over Danielle. Wow I never thought I would meet her this soon. She is very beautiful. Harry walked towards us. " Hey sexy how ya doin?" he asked as he looked her up and down. " Back off Styles. You don't think you could hook up with me do ya. Cause guess what it ain't happening." Nicci said and with that she walked away. I can't wait to see her tomorrow at the competition.
