Nicci's pov
Today was the day. Today I was going to be the first girl from my Nationals team to win 1st place in every event at Nationals. I was so excited I got up half an hour early. I took out my phone and opened up twitter.

Today I will become the best gymnast in the entire nation. Yay! And One Direction will be there to watch me kick some butt. See ya there if your coming.☺
After posting that I got ready and walked out to my car. Brynnan,Mia, Caitlin and I always carpool to meets so I picked them up and started off to the meet. I was positive that Brynnan and Caitlin were going to win every event for their age group too. Brynnan is a year younger than me and Caitlin is two years younger. When we got there we were greeted by our teammates. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Liam and all the other boys walking into the back entrance of the stadium. I pushed my way through my teammates and into the stadium. When I got inside I felt arms wrap around my waist. I spin around only to come face to face with the one and only Liam Payne. I smiled and asked " Liam, why are you hugging me? you barely know me. I met you when Mr. Styles over there tried to hook up with me." He thought for a minute then let go. " I don't know. I just feel like I have known you for a long time after u helped me get over my break up with Danielle." He said. I nodded and walked away to go warm up. Our first event was floor. I loved floor. When it was my turn. I saluted the judge and began my routine. I was almost finished with my routine. Just my last pass. I started the roundolf into the backhandspring into my double full twist, and I stuck it. The crowd went crazy. I smiled like a dork. I saluted the judge to say I was done. I walked to my seat and waited for my score. My score popped up on the screen and I was on the verge of tears. I got a 10.0! A perfect routine without any mistakes. I was soo happy. Now I just had to get the same score on the rest of the events.
