Chinese restaurant

Part 8

Tammy - "So where do you wanna go?"

Y/n - "Umm I don't know uhh... What do you like?"

Tammy - "Oh um I don't know. Chinese?"

You nod and go to into a local Chinese and order your food.
You sit down by the window and look outside watching people as Tammy comes over slowly behind you sorting out her bag.

You're sat in silence for a bit until Tammy goes to say something. But she's cut off by the waiter bringing your food.

Y/n - "Thank you"

Tammy - "Thank you"

You go to start eating but Tammy tries again.

Tammy - "Look okay... I know you might not feel like talking but I just wanna know if your alright."

You stop eating and look up at her.

Y/n - "Sorry... umm I'm okay really. I'm just a bit out of it."

Tammy - "Y/n..."

Y/n - "huh?"

Tammy - "Do you wanna talk about it?"

Y/n - "About what?"

Tammy - "About you, you know you can trust me right?"

Y/n - "i mean yeah I know but there's really nothing to say Tammy, honest."

Tammy - "Okay but if you need talk to at any point just say okay."

Y/n - "okay."

You sit in silence again eating and then you get more curious.

Y/n - "Tammy..."

She's scared you spoke for a second but looks up at you.

Y/n - "Look Im sorry if Im too quiet. I just sometimes find it hard to speak and prefer to be silent. It's nothing on you I just find it less stressful than saying the wrong thing or-"

Tammy - "Woah woah hunny it's okay I get it honestly... I used to do the same thing and it used to drive my family mad."

You look her in the eyes and she looks at her phone.

Tammy - "Are you done eating?"

You nod and she smiles slightly. You both get up thanking the workers for the food saying it was delicious.

Once you leave the restaurant Tammy starts to walk faster so you try to keep up. You've got no clue where she's going but you trust her direction.
