*Skylars P.O.V*

"So baby be the life of the party." Shawn sang.

"Great Shawn. You can take a break." Adam said.

Adam is Shawn's manager, he helped produce, One of Those Nights, Show You, The Weight and soon Life of The Party.

Shawn walks out of the recording room with a water bottle in hand, and walks over to me smiling.

"So. What did you think?" He asked and took a sip of his water.

I giggled. "It's your best song yet." I compliment smiling. He smiles back, but it fades a bit.

"I don't know..." He hesitantly said. I looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" I ask.

We both started walking to where the instrument room was. "Well I really am proud of this, but Adam was a bit... Hesitant, when he first heard it." He explained.

When we were in the instrument room, Shawn grabbed one of the many guitars that were hanging on the wall and we started to walk out.

"Well he's insane. This is one of your best songs, I can promise you that." I said honestly.

"You really think so?" He asked.

I smiled genuinely. "I really do. And I never lie."

*Skylars P.O.V*

After Shawn was done at the studio, it was around 3 o'clock P.M.

I went upstairs and jumped on our bed and put my face in the pillow, laying flat on my stomach.

Then suddenly I feel something next to me, so I roll over onto my back and see Shawn sitting on the side of the bed.

He smiles. And I smile back.

"You're so beautiful." He complements.

I'm still laying on my back.

"Aw. And you're still the nicest person ever." I say back and giggle.

"Shawn I'm so glad I have you. My life was.... So empty."

"Then I met you. And.... Everything. Everything changed." I tell him.

He comes and lays beside me.

"I wish I could say something better but, I can't top that." He smiles returning the 'complement'.

Then he smirks and starts to tickle me again.

"Shawn! Can't- breath- again!" I manage to giggle out.

He stops, his face inches from mine.

"Now can we try this again?" He smirks, I shake my head and laugh.

"Very pushy Mendes. Very pushy." I laugh.

He kisses me deeply and I wrap my arms around his neck.

He stops for a second.

"Are we going anywhere soon?" He asks. "Nope." I smirk.

"Good." He smirks back and starts to kiss my neck.

The next day, I woke up to the bright sun, peaking through our white curtains.

Shawns arms were tightly wrapped around my small body. He was shirtless, but had boxers on.

I shifted my body trying not to wake him, so that I would be facing him.

His arms pulled away. His eyes still closed.

I sat there looking at him, admiring his adorable features.

Gorgeous brown hair. Perfect skin. Even though I couldn't see it but, his beautiful hazel eyes.

Adorable smile.

And... His drop dead gorgeous body.

Like I mean, damn. Look at those abs!

"Sky'?" I hear Shawn say.

I look at his face again. Damn I was zoned out.

He laughed.

"Morning beautiful." He greeted me with his adorable morning voice.

I blushed.

"Um. How long was I zoned out for?" I ask curiously.

"Well. You were staring at my abs... So about 2 minutes." He giggles.

I laugh and bury my head in the pillow.

He laughed. Then I felt his soft lips on the side of my neck.

I turn to see his smiling face.

Then I heard my phone ring.

I roll over to my side of the bed and grab my phone which was charging on the floor.

"Hey Cam' what's up?" I say answering a call from Cameron.

I clicked speaker.

"Eh, not much. Nash and I were gonna watch a movie later and were wonderin' if you two were done-"

"CAMERON!" I cut him off.

Shawn and him start to laugh and Shawn wraps his arms around my body making me giggle.

"Okay what time?" I ask, still being embraced by Shawn who was slowly starting to kiss my neck softly.

"Be at our place around 1 o'clock, we're gonna attempt to make lunch too." He adds.

"Oh. Sweet! Okay we will be there then." I respond.

"Okay. Bye." We both hang up.

I put my phone down after checking the time. 10:00am.

Shawn just smirks.

"No. I'm going to have a shower." I say knowing what he wanted. I pull the covers off my body and walk into the washroom.
