*The Next Day*
*Skylars P.O.V.*

I woke up, Shawns warm, muscular arms wrapped around my body.

I turned my head to see his eyes still closed, but they slowly opened.

"Hey Mendes." I say turning my body, facing him. He smiles. "Hey."

He didn't say anything after that. A few moments went by.

He breaths in slowly and then sits up, so do I. We both were leaning our backs agains the backboard of our bed.

"I think I'm going to do the movie." He finally says. I think for a moment. "Okay." I say.

He looks at me. "I will support whatever you do." I say flashing a small smile.

"But..." He says. "I'm not going to Digitour..."

I look at him with wide eyes. No words came out. No matter how hard I tried.

My eyes started to tear up. That's when he embraced me into a hug.

"I'm sorry. I really am." He says, my head buried in his shoulder.

I pull away after a few minutes.

"It's okay. I understand. You have your career... And I have mine."

Shawn's P.O.V.

"Thank You, bye." I say then hang up my phone. I walk out of our kitchen towards the bedroom, where Skylar is.

I walked in to see her skinny body wrapped in a towel. She looks towards me. I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her waist.

She unwraps my arms.

"Shawn you don't have to beat yourself up for this." She tells me. I look down.

"I'm sorry." I say. "Shawn, of course im gonna miss you so much, but you deserve this and im proud of you." She tells me.

I look down, then feel her soft hands slide around my core to my back and she just hugged me. God im going to miss her.

Lycias manager said we would start work on the first of March... The day after Skylar leaves...

*A few weeks later*

"Need any help?" I walk into our bedroom seeing Skylar sitting on the edge of the bed, with her head in her hands, with her suitcase beside her.

She looks up, and I can tell she was crying.

"No thanks." She says softly. I sit down next to her and out my arm around her.

"I promise I'll visit, and we can talk everyday." I promise her.

She looks at me.

"Shawn I don't want this to change us." She says, making me confused. "What do you mean?" I ask.

"I don't want this to make us further apart, I still want to be 'us'." She explains.

"I promise you I will not let that happen." I say. She looks down again.

"Hey." I say, making her slowly look at me.

"We're a team. And I love you." I tell her, reassuringly. She giggles a bit and smiles.

"I love you too."

I stood there, tears threatening to fall from my eyes. Hugging her as tight as I could, not wanting to let go.
