and in the middle of my chaos, there was you

3 loud pairs of footsteps rushed down the stairs to see what happened.

Now, let's look at this from the students' perspective:

A powerful villain is staying in the basement of their dorms, Jiro came upstairs with a horrified look on her face a few hours earlier after talking to her, there was a gunshot heard where the villain is staying.

It was not in their favour.

"What the hell happened now?!" Bakugo yelled, leading Todoroki and Midoriya down the stairs. Mr. Aizawa wasn't around therefore the three students took it upon themselves to investigate.

"It's fine. I didn't shoot anyone." The villain deadpanned, almost matching Todoroki's stoic expression. However, the bi-haired male was a bit more distressed at the moment. "Well I did," she continued with a sigh. "But I'm fine."

"You shot yourself?" Todoroki asked and she hummed. Midoriya quickly grabbed the key to the cell doors and unlocked them. He was in a fit of panic and his friends could see that. No matter if it was a hero or villain, he would always have a kind heart.

"Are you alright!? Where's the bleeding?! Where's—" The greenette student stopped himself mid-sentence. "Where is the gunshot wound?"

The trio of boys settled their gaze on the nonchalant girl. She sat cross-legged, staring at the wall. She wasn't in any distress or pain. She was fine?

Just before they could ask another question she pulled out the bullet. A small clank was heard on the floor below Midoriya's feet. Whether it was panic or relief that washed over his face, they didn't know. But he was certainly going through a rollercoaster of emotions.

"See? I'm fine."

Indeed she was.

"Fucking psychopath." Bakugo scoffed as he headed up the stairs once more. His half-and-half counterpart followed closely behind, not wanting to be around someone like this any longer.

The boy looked behind him, thinking he would find Midoriya following close behind but instead he only saw him interacting with the villain. An unsettling feeling laid itself in his stomach for the rest of the night. He didn't trust her.

"Got somethin' on your mind, Broccoli?"

He raised his head hastily, letting off a small smile. That smile usually made people dismiss whatever they previously thought was wrong with him, however, she remained deadpan in front of him.

He let out a small sigh and rubbed his eyes indolently. The adrenaline from the gunshot was wearing off and he was left only with his troublesome thoughts.

"Exams, that's all." Again, he smiled. And soon, she found herself smiling sympathetically as well. Quickly, she recomposed herself; feeling repulsed that she let a hero make her smile.

"I can probably get the answer key out of Mr.Hobo." She explained and he instantly jumped up, waving his hands in front of her face spastically. "I'm kidding." Not really.

"Ah! Okay! But just in case you're actually thinking of doing...something... to him, please don't. I have to do this to become a proper hero!"

She pitied him, which was uncommon seeing as she was a villain. He based his entire livelihood on academic achievement and had never seen outside of this lens.

"You simply need to de-stress." Her idea sparked a light in his head. There was something he's been wanting to do for a while but could never find the time. "I can already see the gears turning." She laughed half-heartedly before letting out a small sigh. "I'll meet you for lunch tomorrow, and we can go from there."

"You really think Mr. Aizawa is going to let you outside?" Midoriya asked as he was being pushed out of the cell. Just as she closed the doors, he could see a small smirk forming.

"If you don't break the rules, the rules break you."
