6. The Hangout

Louise's POV

I brushed through my hair fixing the tangles before putting it up in a high ponytail I was hanging out with that new girl today, Hannah I think anyway I might as well get to know her I mean we are going to be working together

L: ok I'm going out ill be back later

D: hold it where are you going

L: to that ice cream place a few blocks down with Hannah

M: oh our new worker? She seemed sweet

L: yeah, alright bye

D&M: bye

i walked outside and started walking towards "Moo's clues". My phone rang as I was walking up to the store, checking the called ID I saw it was Andy

L: what's up

A: I have a question, what is Millie's favorite color?

l: Green, same as mine look everything i like she likes

A: thanks

L: No problem

I hung up and walked into the ice cream shop, Hannah was already sitting down at a table, she saw me and a large grin took over her face and she waved me over

Hannah's POV

I got to the ice cream place fifteen minutes early eagerly waiting for Louise to show up, after what felt like an eternity Louise walking in looking absolutely gorgeous, god she's perfect. She glanced up and saw me. I couldn't help but smile so big it made my entire face hurt

She walked over and sat down across from me

L: hey

I sat down across from her

H: hey

L: what do you wanna talk about

H: any wacky stories?

L: ooh yes

2 HOURS LATER

She was so interesting

L: and that's how I got banned from wonder wharf for a month well it was supposed to be forever but I cut a deal with our landlord aka the owner of wonder also my partner in crime (laughs) we pulled so many schemes

H: I bet

L: yeah it was fun but my favorite memories were in the restaurant

H: wow so you grew up in the restaurant

L: yeah Me, Tina, and Gene had a blast well before they went off to college I miss them

I was overcome with jealousy, I should be the only person she should care about, the only person she should miss. I put on a tight smile. I hate when she talks to other people or talks about them I just want to be the only person she should think off, but its fine I'll get rid of them soon I just have to be patient first up is Rudy

THE NEXT DAY

Rudy's POV

I cheered ha ha I won. I was playing tic tac toe with the twins

L: if this was football we would be prouder

She said motioning to her and Millie causing us to scoff and roll our eyes before i could say that she was being mean and I won I could feel my throat closing up and a sudden tightness in my chest I tried desperately to breath

M: Rudy are you ok

R: (wheezes) can't...breathe

I managed to squeeze out

L: oh my god get his inhaler

A: I cant find it!

He said going through my backpack I tried desperately to breath it was getting harder when finally I got handed my inhaler I didnt waste a second using it

L: oh my god

O: i found it in that bush

M: why was it there

R: I don't know but why didn't my timer go off its supposed to remind me

They all shrugged mumbling "I don't knows"

L: I'll walk you home 

We all said our goodbyes trying to calm down and me and Louise began walking to my house

L: you ok?

R: not really

L; I'll tell your dad tomorrow you two can get you a new watch

R: thanks

L: question why was your inhaler in the bush

R: I don't know

L: it's weird it's like someone just threw it in there

R: who would wanna hurt me

She shrugged and before I knew it we were at my dads house

Hannah's POV

DAMMIT! I thought that would work I broke his watches timer and took his inhaler I threw it in the bush during lunch I didn't think he'd have an asthma attack right by the goddamn bush I groaned in frustration

I really should've thought this more through but I absolutely hated seeing the fear in Louise's eyes I never want to see her like that again I just want...I just want to take her to the woods in a small house and keep her safe away from everyone and every danger there is

I want to love her forever and never let her get away oh god that sounds perfect

THE NEXT DAY

I waited eagerly for Louise to get ready I was waiting outside her house behind some cars so she wouldn't see me I looked at my phone seeing what was taking so long ok I may or may have not placed cameras in her house the other day i just felt like I didn't see her enough ok

She was eating breakfast with her mom on the couch

Li: one more day till the weekend

L: can't wait it means no school and I'm officially one week away from winning this stupid bet with Rudy

I twisted my eyebrows in confusion

Li; don't let your father hear about this bet he'll never let Rudy back in the house

They both shared a laugh wait what bet? what the hell are they talking about is there something I need to know about? eh I'm sure its nothing I mean if it was big I would know, Louise would never keep anything from me I mean she's in love with me
