Watchtower Meeting

(The trio met up at the Watchtower)

Batman: "You're late."

Superman: "Glad you're okay too, Bruce."

Wonder Woman: "You will be pleased to hear that one of your most fearsome foes has been defeated this evening."

(Batman's eyebrow rose)

(Diana posed dramatically)

Wonder Woman: "...The Penguin."

(She couldn't help herself from giggling making Clark smile uncontrollably)

Batman: "...good work. Cobblepot does make a habit of being a nuisance."

Wonder Woman: "I'm sorry. Did you say..Cobble..Pot?"

Batman: "Yeah yeah laugh it up, you two. While you were off having the time of your lives I made a worrying discovery. Someone's been selling Kryptonite to thugs in Metropolis."

Superman: "What? Are you serious?"

Wonder Woman: "When is he not?"

Batman: "It gets worse. They've been using Doomsday's corpse to retrieve it."

Superman: "Doomsday..? Why wasn't his body destroyed?"

Batman: "It couldn't be. It took everything you had to kill it remember?"

Superman: "How could I forget?"

Wonder Woman: "Because you came back from the dead right after and blasted your hot eyes at military vehicles?"

Superman: "I..I apologized for that."

Batman: "Anyways..Doomsday's body went missing later that night. I assumed Luthor had something to do with it but now I'm not sure."

Wonder Woman: "This seems like a potentially big threat. Where is everyone else?"

Batman: "Arthur's celebrating his parents anniversary with them, Barry's spending the weekend with Iris and Victor's got a new job coaching football."

Wonder Woman: "Oh..I'm both happy for them and sad that they have better social lives than we do."

Superman: "Hmm....anyway sounds like Lex is still our best lead. I'm gonna go talk to him."

(Clark walked away before Diana grabbed his hand)

Wonder Woman: "Be careful around that maniac okay? Don't let him get in your head."

(Clark grinned)

Superman: "Don't worry. There's only room for one in my head."

Wonder Woman: "Hm..not your best flirty line but we can work on it over dinner..or I guess breakfast."

(They kissed lovingly)

Batman: "Excuse me while I go vomit."
