(Superman struggled against Mechenwolf until Batman tossed some explosive batarangs, distracting him then kicked him in the chest)

(Wonder Woman epically went for her decapitation finishing move but her sword bounced off of Mechenwolf's metal head)

Wonder Woman: "That totally worked last time!"

(Superman grabbed Mechenwolf's head and crushed it)

Wonder Woman: "That works I s'pose."

(Hamilton, Cheetah and Two-Face were dropped off at the Asylum while Doomsday was given a proper burial)

(Bruce and Alfred had a swinging shindig a go go in the Bat Cave)

(Clark met up with Diana in the Watchtower)

Diana: "Clark. You alright?"

Clark: "Just thinking about something Barbara said to me. About your old boyfriend. Steve Trevor."

(Diana sighed)

Clark: "You don't talk about him much. She said you nearly sacrificed everything for him. What did she mean by that?"

Diana: "It was..during the 1984 crisis. I was able to get Steve back again but only for a short time. In order to save the world I had to give him up. It took a toll on me for a long time. And those wounds never truly began to heal...until you."

Clark: "So..I wasn't your first boyfriend to come back from the dead."

(She chuckled)

Diana: "An odd coincidence if I ever heard one. Just know that my love for you is very real. I never doubted that."

(Clark smiled and kissed her softly)

(Barry sped in)

Barry: "You guys! You're never gonna believe what happened to me!"

(Clark and Diana groaned)
