87th hunger games

Chapter.2

My eyes flutter open.
9:00 the morning of the Reaping I crawl out of bed and drag my self down the stairs.
"Morning sweetie" my father says he is cooking some kind of breakfast
Cody sit at the table with nex (13) and Henry (my crippled brother. 14)
"Happy death day!" Cody says as I sit down "shut it!" I snap "here you go!" My father sets a plate down in front of each of us then sits down him self.
We eat in silence waiting for conversation. "I'm done" I stand sick of the science and walk back to my bed room. There is a dress hung on my bed frame, its starts a dark blue and fades out to a creamy white it reminds me of the waves I saw last night, how they crashed up against the rocks and then where dragged back Out again I think of the Colours in the sky the brilliant pinks and oranges!
I must have been day dreaming for a wile because I hear the bells indicating the reaping is starting I snap out of my trance and raced down to the hall of justice my three brothers trying to catch up.
We get lined up by the peacekeepers and the reaping begins.

A woman walks out on stage she wore a giant purple dress frills everywhere it was coated in a thick layer of sparkles.
"Welcome everyone!" She chirps "to the reaping of the 87th annual hunger games!" I roll my eyes "so, lady's first?" She fiddles with her dress and finally managed to waddle over to the massive glass bowl with everyone's name inside.
She carefully choose the one unlucky person she pauses as she opens the small card "are female tribute for the 87th annual hunger games is" she pauses "Kennedy Lieheart" that's me I think wave of panic rushes is over me I'm going to the hunger games I'm going to die. I slowly move my spot up to the podium. "And the boys" The escort says she moved her dress around so she can have the ability to walk and as quick as possible for in a dress that size goes over to the boys bowl "Leo Neverlyn" a boy from the 12-year-old section scurries up the stairs He trips on the third one and falls on his face The peacekeepers rush over to help him up.
like they care.
The escort clears her throat before speaking again "are tributes!" She booms "Kennedy lie heart and Leo Neverlyn!" "Come this way" a peace keeper orders he takes me to a room.
It is empty aside for a lovely white couch.
I sit. It is made from leather, I wonder if it was died "Kennedy?" Someone asks I look up to see my father and 5 brothers, Troy runs up and gives me a hug. "I'll see you soon!" He says with a smile. He thinks I'll win. " Troy," I start but then I think could I win? If I did we could afford money to save mom! "I'll see you soon." I plant a kiss on this forehead with a boost of confidence, I give Cody and Henry hugs and say my final goodbyes to my father and the rest of my bothers.
"Your mother will miss you" my father tells me I nod and the peacekeepers escort them out. I sit alone on the white couch for another 20 minutes until the escort comes to collect me. "Quickly now. To the train" she orders Leo and I hop onto the train. I hear the engine start up the confidence flushes out of me.
I stare out the window and watch my district, my home disappear behind me, "you could make it back." Leo mumbles "what?" I ask "I'm not getting back." I stand up "there is no way I'm surviving that!" "You have a better shot than I do." Leo half smiles at me "so. What skills do we have?" An unknown voice says I whip around to see a tall man with blonde hair and amazing green eyes.
He's well built, very well built.
"I'm finnick odair. I'll be one of your metors"
A skinny girl pokes her head out from behind him they whisper back and forth for what seems like forever "this is annie" he says motioning to the girl "she is your other mentor" he wraps his arm around annie, and then they basically make out in front of us Leo is laughing hard "uh, Pardon me but if you could do that later it would be great." I say folding my arms.
They stop.
Annie sits in a chair across from Leo she seems a little embarrassed "sit." Finnick orders me I put my hands up As if to say geez ok, then I sit
he across from me "so what skills do you have?" He asks Leo "I can make a net." He stammers Annie nods "what else?" she asks in a quiet voice "um" Leo ponders her a question for a moment "I can make a fish hook!" "Good" finnick exclaims then her turns to me "and what about you?" He mutters "well," I say "I can throw things pretty far." "Come training" he says "i'm showing you how to use a trident."

Ending of the chapter was crap sorry!
But you know whatever.....
The story seems ok (only cuz Fannie just happened!!!!!) i'm not the best writer but I'm Trying
