87th hunger games

Chapter.10

Evelyn.
She tosses her stuff down in front of Leo and I, then plops down next to me.
"Hi" I say acwardly
She says nothing
"Food? Water?" She asks after a wile
Leo hands her the bottle, she quickly takes a sip and places It on the ground by her feet.
The entire right side of the face is coated in Scrapes.
She notices me staring "I fell down the mountain." She admits
"Me too." I point to my back and give a weak laugh.
"Here." Leo hands her the disinfectant.
She smiles a bit and slowly apples it to her many cuts.
"God it hurts." She wines
"Where's Alexia?" I ask
Evelyn shrugs "I had an Allie I don't know where she is though." She says
"Her name was Sear district 7."
I remember Sear from training,
She was great with a spear and seemed smart. She had shoulder length Amber hair, and brown eyes. Freckles dotted her nose, she was quite pretty.
"She's not dead." Leo says in an attempt to lift our spirits.
He Failed.
"We should sleep." Evelyn suggest
Seems like a good idea. I take my duffle bag and trident and climb a tree.
Just incase.
"I'll take first watch." Leo says I lean back against the tree and drift off to sleep.
***time skip***
The next morning im awoken by screaming.
I sit up and fall from the tree clutching my trident ready for whatever's out there.
Alexia and a girl with Amber hair run from the woods. Evelyn Stands axe posted and Leo is still asleep in a tree, "Leo!" I shout he springs up flopping around trying not to fall. "There's, theres a-a-a" the Amber haired girl stammers
A giant snake that appears to be made from rock. "MUTT!" Leo screams
I pick up my duffle bag and start to run I hear foot steps behind me, I look over my shoulder, Evelyn Leo the Amber haired girl and Alexia fallow me.
I spot a cave up ahead "there!" I point to the small hole the snake will not be able to fit through.
I let Leo in first the Evelyn the Amber haired girl goes next leaving alexia and me outside the cave, "come on!" I shout the snake is coming closer Alexia is running fast but the snake is on her heels.
She dives into the cave and i quickly fallow. The snake try's to get through the hole it's to small for its structure.
Evelyn breaths a sigh of relief.
"Sear." She exclaims "you not dead!"
Sear is the girl with the Amber hair she flashes a pearly white smile.
"Not yet." She chirps.
Suddenly the snake manages to wriggle its head through the hole it sinks its fangs into Sears leg. She screams and falls to the floor, Leo lunges towards the snake and lodges his sword deep into the beasts eye. It hisses and releases Sear's leg.
She screams and crys trying to make it pain go away.
Alexia uses the medical tape I got in my bag to try and fix the wound it every time she wraps it up the heavy blood flow soaks through.
I shiver.
Sear is going to bleed to death if we doing do something soon "dose anyone have medicine or something that Will make the blood stop?" Alexia asks calmly Evelyn roots through her bag and pulls out Leo's water canteen "hey that's mine!" Leo argues Evelyn holds it out of his reach and passes to Alexia "shell die!" Alexia snaps she pours the water on Sear's wound she screams "shut up would ya are you trying to get us found." I snap she gives me a look that says yes,
I don't trust her.

Finally we manage to get sear's leg to stop bleeding, she only problem is she can't walk.
Leo Evelyn and I walk in the front of our group watching for the snake Alexia helps sear walk in the back,
Finally we reach our camp area to find it trashed any supplies we didn't bring have been stolen,
"God Dam it!" Leo shouts kicking a rock "someone took our things!" "Someone took your things." Evelyn jokes. "Kennedy and I where smart and brought our things"
I hear a scream as knife has hit Leo in the shoulder he falls to the ground.
King and Ethan bound from the forest, king gets ready to stab Leo, Alexia tackles him and drives an knife into his head. "Thanks." Leo says sanding.
Evelyn pins Ethan to a tree he screams and begs for her to let him live, I think he's 13, I swallow the lump in my throat as Evelyn decapitates the 13 year old
I squeeze my eyes shut and wish I was out of here.
When I open them Ethan and kings mangled corpses lie in front of me, the sound of the cannon firing echoes in my mind.
Evelyn takes there things just before the hover craft picks them up to return them to there districts.
"What?" Evelyn asks "it's the hunger games."
I take a deep breath in "and in the hunger games it's kill or be killed."
