Part 10 Backfired plan

Khushi looked at Arnav shockingly. This is the first time someone was proposing to her like this. As she was a daughter of the Doctor, no one dared to near her ever. This man has guts even though it was for fun. She thought he was making fun out of her. She never has spoken to him sweetly then how would she have attracted him in the real sense?

" Oh, really? I love you too..." She said tellingly dreamingly...

Arnav shrank his eyes a little, tilting his head as her facial expression looked completely fake. She shrugged off his hand.

"Stop making fun out of me... I'm not here to entertain you... Understand?" She took a step away from him to leave the place.

She felt a tug on her neck. She turned around and found her shawl in his clutch.

"How dare you touch my shawl?" She pulled her shawl... But, Arnav's grip on the shawl was tight enough to take it from his clutch.

There is no expression on his face.

" Leave my shawl... "

Arnav's gaze was stern on her.

"What mischievousness is this...?" She gritted her teeth.

" What you are thinking is not true..." He said.

" What...?" she asked struggling with her shawl.

" I'm not making fun out of you..."

"Ok... Leave it..."

" I mean, what I said is true. I love you...Khushi... I would like I to marry you..." he came straight to the point...MARRIAGE...

This time Khushi didn't feel it as fun because the zeal in his eyes told her that it's true. Khushi turned her eyes somewhere.

" I really do... " he confirmed his stance.

"I... I don't..."

Cutting her,

"Stop... Don't... I don't ask you anything... I said what I feel for you. I don't want you to hurry... Don't give your reply without thinking. And, one more thing... you can work for ASR. I won't be a hindrance to your ambition..."

She looked at him flabbergast. He left her hand. Khushi rushed out of the room.

Arnav smiled with satisfaction. Finally, he found a life partner and proposed to her too. She will be his life partner no matter what. He knew Khushi has some issues accepting him. But she will say YES... Or he will MAKE her say yes. After all, Arnav Singh Raizada liked her. He was so sure of his life partner from the beginning. That's why he never hurried on that topic even after getting many proposals. Those proposals were based on his status... reputation... and money. He knew those are not enough to be happy. Wife is a great feel. She should not be got by material things. Here, he found HER... Who is full of life and also with her own life goals. Not that he didn't meet anyone with a goal before. They had a many favorable possibility to have that. This girl is different. She had a very poor background. Yet, she doesn't compromise but was struggling to come out of the circle. Don't know what attracted him in particular... He liked her... that's all... Even though she doesn't have such qualities he would have liked her. After all, love doesn't need any quality. It just happens...

Khushi was confused. She doesn't know what to answer Arnav. She didn't talk to him nicely because she was upset with him in the beginning. Because of him, she was unable to give an interview in AR. But as time passed, she became normal. She liked Arnav when he supported her. His ideas about culture and womankind gave her a good impression on him. But, LOVE...? He looked, high class. His educational qualification would also be high. How does she suit him? No... he needs someone better than her. This INFATUATION won't be long-lasting. She has to avoid this. For that, he should know she is not interested in him. Then only he would stop trying.

After that, Arnav didn't see Khushi for the whole day. He thought she is hesitating. But, she had not even seen the next day too which made Arnav worried. Doesn't she like him? What would he do if she says a strict NO? Arnav thought deeply... Yes... That would be a good idea. She won't deny it if he asked her hand for marriage from her father. What if Shashi is not ready to give her a hand to a non-native person like him? Arnav again thought. He got an idea for that too. Raizadas will never be an obstacle to his wish. Her father would not have a choice other than to give her hand to him if his family approached Shashi formally. Arnav was fully set to trap Khushi with a full-fledged plan. Knowing Khushi's decision only is left.

Khushi was unable to stay away from Arnav because of Shashi. He ordered her to do her regular works. Khushi managed to tackle them with the help of NK most of the time. Arnav understand that. So, he decided to turn the situation around using NK.

NK came with his medicine and passed it to Arnav.

*Arnav Bhai, your health condition is getting better day by day. You are going to walk from tomorrow...*

*Oh...*

*You will be alright very soon*

Arnav nodded yes.

*NK, I want a favor from you*

*Anything for you Bhai*

*I want you to go to the town*

*For? *

*Bring me an English Newspaper*

*Newspaper? *

*Yes... my friend said, important news about our company would publish today*

*Could you get me a Newspaper? *

*Ok, Bhai. I will get permission from Shashiji and then go to the town*

*Thank you*

NK told Shashi about Arnav's obligation and Shashi permitted NK to go to the town. Arnav smiled inwardly. Now, Khushi would have come to him... she wouldn't have any choice.

NK went to the town. Luckily, he got a bus to the town at the right time. He saw a paper shop on the bus stand. He got down from the bus running before it stopped. He walked to the shop and saw a snacks shop on the way. Kachori's smell floated in the air towards his nose. He thought to eat one as he had enough money. He asked for a Kachori and waited. The shopkeeper took a newspaper piece and folded a kachori in it. He extended it to NK. NK ate it relishing. That's when something dragged his attention. He frowned, seeing a familiar face in the newspaper piece in the shop which was ready to fold another kachori. The shopkeeper extended his hand to take the paper piece. NK snatched that and read it. Luckily, it was a Hindi newspaper. THE FAMOUS BUSINESS TYCOON ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA IS MISSING WHEN HE WENT TO NAINITAL TO ATTEND A CONFERENCE. Arnav was smiling in the paper stylishly.
