Eren never spoke of it again, so for the time being, that was the end of it. Though I suspect he told Armin, who though still the same smart friendly kid to me, also seemed a bit distant.

I talked to Annie about it, she seemed to get a kick out of it.

"So loverboy is jelous of me?" She smiled slightly, amused.

"It would seem so" I looked at her. "It's not funny, no matter how much he ignores me, he's still the only family I have."

"Well maybe it's time for you to find a new one." Annie looks at me.

"Like who Leonhardt?"

"It was just a suggestion Ackerman. But. Honestly, what does he think we do in here?" She pauses to think. "It's not like we're romantically involved, and strip eachother bare and make furious love, we talk."

An image came to mind when she spoke, and a hot flash came over me. "Yeah..." I said quietly.

Annie looks over, nd seems to study me for a moment. "Ackerman. Are you lesbian?"

"No!" I say quickly, perhaps too quickly maybe giving myself away.

She stands and walks over to me, grabbing my chin roughly, and pulling up so I have to look at her. "You're lying."

"Piss off Leonhardt." I look away, and try to pull myself out of her grasp.

"Mikasa." I think this is the first time I've ever heard her use my first name.

"What is it Leonhardt?" I look at her, trying to keep the heat from rising in my cheeks, at her close proximity to my face.

She growls slightly, seemingly frustrated for a second, then her lips collide with mine.

I wasn't sure what to make of it, is she doing this to test me? Does she really want to know that badly? Why?

I didn't give myself much time to think about it, before I kissed back. It was rough at first, her lips ravaging mine and parting them, to explore me with her tongue. It quickly turned into an intense, hot, tongue battle for dominance which I let her win. By now, we had handfuls of each others hair, and our faces were fiercely locked in place.

"I knew it." She pulled back somewhat when we came up for air.

"Congratulations, what do you want? A medal?" I roll my eyes, laying the sarcasm on real thick.

"Shut up Ackerman. I have a much better prize in mind..."
