Darshan woke up early which is certainly not expected from him. Last night he could not sleep, so without wasting much time tossing and turning, he woke up. Siddharth had already left and he gave him the time to calm down. He knows that day and the coming days are going to be an emotional rollercoaster ride for Darshan.
Darshan is sitting on his bed beside Divya and is scrolling through his social media account. Then he receives a call from his manager. He is not in a mood to talk but he answers the call.
"Yes Bhai. What happened?"
"Darshan you've been busy recording songs for some composers over the past few months. Those recordings went well. But now you will have to resume your shows."
"Darshan...are you there?"
"Umm...yeah.. yeah"
"Darshan there's an offer for a show day after tomorrow. I would suggest you to do the show."
"Yeah..okay.."
"So is that a yes from you? Should I confirm the organiser that you've agreed?"
"Yes..." he replies softly
"Then tomorrow evening be prepared for the sound check. I'll send you the address and venue"
Darshan's friends are a part of his band. Next evening, they are already present at the venue for the sound check. Darshan will be performing after many days rather many months- all of them couldn't control their excitement after thinking that!
"Darshan should have come by this time..why is he late?", Jugyal asks while looking at his watch. "No he's not late. We came here earlier. See it's just 5pm and we were supposed to come here at 6pm", Hardil continues. While Jugyal and Hardil are excited for the performance, Siddharth and Darshan's manager are looking a little tensed. Hardil senses that and immediately asksthem, "what happened? Is everything okay?"
Siddharth replies in a tensed tone, "Actually we don't know! I'm excited for Darshan's performance. But honestly I'm tensed, he has not performed live for months. Also he has tried his best to stay away from media. I just pray everything goes well tomorrow".
They notice Darshan coming and immediately changs the conversation. They know he is worried so they do not want to increase his anxiety. "Darshan you're ready,right? Should we start?" ,Jugyal asks him. "...I...nee..d so..me some...time" All of them nod in respond because they know his situation.
After a few minutes Darshan arrives and joyfully says "guys let's start". Although he tries his best to show his joy, all of them notice his swollen eyes- he was crying alone.
Darshan rehearses with all the band members, but still he is nervous about the concert.
What will happen in the concert??
