45: Message in a bottle

By the time you find the letter in this bottle on the beach
time has probably passed by for so many years
I wrote this letter especially for a broken-hearted person
Who is now falling into a deep depression
and think that there's no use of going on

I have been there too
And I understand the pain you're going through day by day
You imagine that your lover is in someone else's arms
It hurts you so bad thinking why you can no longer be together
You feel like everything you've done was perfect for that person
But still, he or she chooses another and leaves you all alone

You even cry without tears as time goes by
For God's sake, you've tried to forget but you can't
The image of the person's smile keeps coming back
Haunting you till you suffer the endless insomnia

The day it happened to me I almost committed suicide
I went to the beach and had the intention to drown myself
Luckily, I changed my mind when I looked at something in the sky

It was dark and I saw a star up there shining in lights
Oh my God, I said to myself, the star looks like me!
It's just there all alone in the dark
In the breeze, I could hear it whisper to me
Sorrow is everywhere my dear, but you must shine
to conquer the darkness
There is another beautiful life waiting for you there

So I went home and tried to start my new life
For so many years the pain still went along with my steps
But then one day I found someone new
What a beautiful life I had with her
The pain and the sorrow disappeared forever

My dear,
if you wanna cry, just cry
It's okay, just express your sadness
But remember,
the sorrow should not prevent you from being
a star that shines so bright in the dark

Somebody, with a beautiful love
is waiting for you there
